Betty's POV
In the past month before my school started I have been getting so many texts from Veronica and Kevin asking where I am. I just told them that we moved and we won't be coming back any time soon. I guess they believe me. I really don't want them to find out I'm lying because it could possibly break their heart.

B-Hey, I'm really bored do y'all want to go up to sweet water river and hang out?
T-I'm up for it, meet you there in 5
B-okay, anyone else?
Sp-sure, I'll bring pops
J-I'm in If food is involved
B-of course you are Jug. Lol
F-I guess I have to come if everyone else is
B-Yep, everyone be there in 5
Sp-Yes ma'am
B-Shut up Sweetpea

I put my phone down and slip on a swimsuit. I throw a long t-shirt on over it. I walk downstairs to the bar. About 20 people are here ?-"Hey Blondie" a serpent said "Hey, whoever said that" I say back with a giggle. Everyone here either calls me blondie, princess, Betts, or just Betty. I look around for Fp but I can't find him so I walk up on stage and "Fp? Are you here" I say loudly.  Fp-"Right here" He says with a chuckle I step off stage and walk to him. "Can you drive me to sweet water river?"  Fp-"Yea but you need to get your own motorcycle" "REALLY?!?!" He just laughs at me Fp-"Yes, really I will let you get a motorcycle if you can help me fix it up" "YES YES YES THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!" We hop on his motorcycle and ride to sweet water river.

When we arrive I hop off the motorcycle kiss Fp on the cheek and thank him. I then throw my hair up into a messy bun and walk down to the river where my friends were. T-"Hey Betts we got your usual at pops come sit" they were all sitting on the ground unwrapping their food since they had just got there. I sat between Toni and Jug. We are our burgers and talked. When everyone was finished J-"Does anyone want to go swimming?" Sp-"I'm in" F-"Sure" T-"I mean I guess" J-"Cone on Betts" "It's like really cold" F-"You'll be fine" T-"Yea, come on it's not that bad just go for it" I still wasn't budging J-"Please" "Nope" Then Sweetpea comes up behind me and picks me up and throws me in the water "SWEETPEA. I HATE YOU SOO MUCH!!!" They all jump in and Jug swims over to me. He picks me up and holds me. He is able to touch the bottom but I am much shorter than him so I'm not even close. When he holds me everyone gives us looks then I remember that we haven't told them yet "By the way guys, we are dating" F-"I KNEW IT!! Sweets you owe me 50 bucks!" "What?" I ask with a giggle F-"I said That you all will get together within two months and Sweetpea said one month. It has been more than one month so... yea" J-"Wow" T-"They always make bets on this kind of stuff" Sp-"So, no more sitting on my lap during the movies?" "I will switch on and off" Sp-"Okay, I accept the offer. And also why is Jug holding you the water is not that deep" "Well, you are 6 foot, Jug is 5'11, Fangs is 5'11 and Toni is 5'9. So no it's not deep for you" F-"How y'all are you?" "I'm 4'11" T-"SERIOUSLY" They all laughed "Yep and I'm not gonna grow anymore" Sp-"Wow"

Just as we finished our conversation, Riverdale highs football team showed up R(Reggie)-"Hey guys, we cant swim in snake infested waters, let's just leave" A(Archie)-"I think it would be better to fight them for it" Sp-"Oh you really want to fight us" J-"We are in a gang, you are just a bunch of foot ball players." The boys walked up to them but I dated back in the water. Toni was about to leave but I pulled her back. "Hey, Toni I cant go up there, those were the boys who all ways bullied me in school, they are a year older than me so same age as you Jug and Fangs." T-"Your a serpent now, they can't hurt you, but you can hurt them, and if one of them barely touches you Jug would kill them and we both know that" She said with a chuckle. I just giggled. "Okay, I guess". The whole time we were talking the boys were still trash talking each other. I then walk up beside Sweetpea and Toni walks up beside fangs. Jug is in the middle. A-"Oh so the perfect girl next door is now a serpent slut. I wonder what momma Cooper thinks about that" "She could care less, she only used me as a human punching bag but, why would you care, all you ever did for me was throw me up against lockers" A-"You deserved it, you were just a scrawny little kid. And it looks to me that you haven't toughened up at all" then I punched him. He fell to the floor from impact and I then realized during the whole conversation I was digging my nails into my palms. Jug can't find out about this.

All the bulldogs left after I punched him. Sp-"Looks like my training finally payed off" "Yep," I said not really paying attention. My back was turned towards them. J-"Betts, what's wrong?" He then stepped in front of me and noticed my hands. J-"Betts, what happened?" He said softly. I just started crying. He pulled me into his chest and I hid my face. I kept quietly sobbing for about 5 minutes. When I calmed down, I knew that everyone knew about it. When I calmed down he asked me again but even softer J-"Betts, what happened" "Um, well, I have bad anxiety like all the time and when I'm mad or want to punch someone or something, I do this to stop myself. But I guess that didn't work today." He just pulled me into a hug. As soon as he leg go Sweets gave me a hug and the same with fangs and then Toni. Sp-"Do you want to go home?" "Yea" I said with tears threatening to spill out of my eyes once again. I hopped on jugs motorcycle and we drove to the wyrm with everyone else following us. We get there and all walk in together. Fp sees us and can obviously tell that I have been crying. He comes up to me and asks what's wrong. I just show him my hands and Fp-"Anxiety?" He says very softly. I nod my head and hug him. Then I make my way upstairs and fall asleep on my bed.
