Part 21 - Shut Down

Betty's pov
We are in the truck on the way back to the Wyrm. Dad keeps giving me pity looks even though I haven't said anything since we left school. I can see the parking lot so hopefully I can get out before he starts to question me. Just as we are pulling in Fp-"So, what happened" He softly says. I just broke down in tears. You might be thinking. 'Damn this girl cries alot' but you nor dad nor jug nor anybody knows the real story. Mr. Whie is giving me flashbacks of my mom and dad. How they would non-stop hit and punch me and other people would watch and not do anything. Dad parks and gets out while i'm still balling my eyes out. He quickly walks over to my side and opens my door. Fp-"I'm sorry honey" I didn't respond I just hugged him as he picked me up and carried me into the Wyrm. As we were walking through the door Tallboy approaches us. Tb-"Hey, what happened" Fp-"I don't know she won't say"  Fp-"Couch or Bed?" "Couch" I said with my weary voice. Me saying this caused his hand to move up and down my back. He sat me on one of the many couches we have downstairs. The music turned down but everyone went back to what they were doing. Dad went behind the bar watching me carefully as I fell into a soft sleep.

Fp's pov
(an hour later)
Betty's hiding something. I just can't figure out what it is. I'm pretty sure everyone can see that something is on her mind. B-"Fp?" She says quietly but just loud enough so I can hear. "What's up blondie". B-"Can I talk to you about something. Like in your office?" "Of course." I grab her hand and carefully help her up from the couch. As we walk to the stairs everyone move out of our way to make a pathway. They obviously see what i'm seeing. We walk into the office and sit down on opposite sides of my desk. "So, what's goin on?" B-"Um, It's Mr.Whie, he"- She is cut off by the phone ringing off the hook. I walk over to the phone and pick it up.

(On the phone)
Fp- "Hello?"
?- "Hello, is this Forsythe Pendleton Jones II?"
Fp- "Yea, who is this?"
?- "This is Southside high, I am calling to inform you that every student currently going to this school is being transferred either to Riverdale high or Seaside high. I recommend Riverdale High for your students considering it is much closer"
Fp- "Okay, Thank you. Is that all?"
SSS- "I would also like to let you know that all students have been released for school early today and will have 4 days at home until they start school again on Monday, Thank you for your time."
(SSS hung up the phone)

"I'm sorry you got interrupted sweetheart but you will no longer have to deal with him because all of y'all are going to riverdale high." B-"NO! I can't do that, I can't go back there" She started crying like really hard. "Hey, hey it's okay. You'll have Jug and Toni and Sweetpea and fangs, you'll be okay" I said as i hugged her super tight. She sniffled and said "okay" very quietly but just loud enough so I can hear it.

(time skip, 30 minutes)
Betty's pov
The gang just walked into the bar. Jug immediately comes over to me and give me a big hug, spinning me around. "We don't have to go to that hell hole ever again!!" He said excitedly. As he put me down I giggle and say, "Yea but we have to go back to my old school and I have to deal with my old friends" I said the while my smile was slowly fading off my face.

I'm so sorry this part is short. I'm debating whether or not to continue this story. I might start another story not related to riverdale. I just don't have the motivation to write this anymore. I'm also kind of running out of ideas. I'm sorry for this but maybe if I got some opinions. Please comment and tell me if y'all would read another type of story or if I should continue this one or maybe just some ideas or story concepts. Thank you. ♡
