Part 18 - Going Home

(A week later)
Betty's POV
I hate hospitals so much but i'm getting out today and i'm so excited. Juggie is still with me he hasn't left. Fp has gone to get clothes for me to wear home and will be back soon. "Juggie?" J-"Yea?" "When will Fp be back I want to go home" He just chuckled J-"He's on his way back probably." "I'm so excited" I said with a beaming smile on my face. He just looked at me admiringly and smiled. I love him so much i'm just scared to say it. J-"You are one of a kind Betty Cooper". He said while smiling at me. "Awe thank you jug" I love you I love you I love you. I wanna say it so bad but I don't know if he would feel the same. J-"You wanna know something?" "Yea?" J-"I love you, I really really love you and if you don't feel the same that's fine but-" I cut him off with a passionate kiss "I love you to juggie" Then Fp walks in "You ruined our moment Fp" He just looks confused and chuckles a little Fp-"What?" Then jug looks at me and says J-"I love you" Casually "Love you to" I say while still looking into his eyes Fp-"Oh sorry bout that" "It's fine do you have my clothes" I say changing the topic. He throws me new clothes to change into. I slowly sit up on the bed and wince a little from pain. J-"Betts? You need help?" "Yes please" He walks over to me and very slowly helps me to stand up. I squeeze my eyes shut because it hurts like hell. Tears start dropping from my eyes. J-"Hey, it's okay they said it will hurt. it's okay baby" He said with a very soft voice. He always finds ways to make me calm and that's just another reason to love him.

I try to take a step but my knees get weak from not being used to the pressure. Jug catches me and sits me back down and helps me to change while i'm siting. When i sit back down Fp goes to sign the discharge papers. Once we get finished I am sobbing and Jug is just holding me. Fp walks i'm with a sorry look i guess he could hear me. Fp-"Can you just pick her up Jug?" J-"Is that okay with you betts?" "Yea" I wrap my legs around his waist and arms around us neck. I rest my head on his shoulder and continue to cry. This is one of the only positions where i'm not in a ton of pain. He carries me out to the car and sits me down in the back seat. He let's go of me and sits right beside me.

Jughead's POV

so honestly feel so bad for Betty. She's in a ton of pain and I can't do anything to help her. J get in the car and she just stays sitting up straight sobbing while not moving at all. We drive back to the bar when we pulled up she asks B-"Is everyone in there?" "Yea?" Little does she know we have a surprise party set up for her. All done by the serpents especially sweet pea, he really really missed her. B-"I don't want everyone to see me like this" she says looking at her legs. "Like what? Hurt?" B-"No, weak" She said starting to cry even more. Dad looks back at her as soon as those words left her mouth. Fp-"Honey, You are not weak at all. You are the exact opposite of that you are the strongest person I think i've ever met" He said grabbing her hand. She looked up at him and slightly nodded. "Ok let's go" I said softly. I got out of the car and she tried to and started sobbing again. "Betts? Do you want me to carry you?" She slightly nodded and i picked her up just like before with her legs around me. We walk through the door and E(everyone)-"SUPRISE!!!" She looks up from my shoulder and sees everyone B-"Hi guys". The only people we don't see is our friend group. Betty looks confused until they come out of the kitchen with a cake. Sp-"Hi betts" B-"Hi sweets" She let go of me very slowly and started crying again really hard because of the pain. Everyone just started at her with very sad faces while she very very very slowly walked over to Sweet pea. He picked her ion just as I had done before and she started to calm down as he whispered in her ear. She then let out a small giggle and every ones faces lit up. We are finally getting our ray of sunshine back.
