Part 7 - Whyte Wyrm

Betty's POV
I woke up in a strange bedroom and sit up. Jordan is beside me still sleeping. I look at my phone and see that it is 8 am. All of the memories from last night come flooding back to me. I remember running away from home and start to think about what mom is thinking about right now. Is she happy that we left or is she looking for us? I wake up Jordan slowly and get changed as I'm still in the same clothing from yesterday. When me and Jordan get finished about 10 minutes later we head on downstairs to eat breakfast. When we arrive down there we are greeted by Fp making us breakfast in the small kitchen that is behind the bar. The Wyrm is still closed so me Jordan and Fp are the only ones here. FP-"Hey kids, sleep good?" J-"Yes, thank you so much" Fp-"No problem, in about 2 hours all of the other serpents will start to roll in. I would like to introduce you to all of them, especially the junior serpents" "um, ok and thank you for breakfast by the way" Fp gave us a genuine smile and plated the food. We sat at the bar and ate the very well made eggs and bacon.

After that we just hang out and helped Fp clean up while talking about everything. Fp-"is it okay if I go ahead and open the doors a little bit earlier than usual? There are some people waiting outside" "Of course, I mean it is your bar" I responded. He opened the doors and about 10 older serpents walked in and gave us looks as they walked past us. They looked kind of scary so I hugged on to Jordan to hopefully make me feel safer. I think Fp noticed I looked scared because, Fp-"Tall Boy, leave them alone, they will do their initiations later today" I walked over to Fp, "What initiations?" Fp-"Um do you all want to come up to my office or a minute and I will tell you" we followed him upstairs to his office. Fp-"ok so for Jordan, you have to get punched by 100 serpents and for Betty, you have to either do a pole dance or do what Jordan is doing which no girl has ever done" "I want to do what Jordan is doing, I'm not gonna strip in front of a bunch of men" Fp and Jordan just looked at me shocked. Fp-"Are you sure?" "Yes but Jordan is going first" J-"ok I can deal with that" We walk back out of Fp's office and make our way back downstairs. Once we reach the bar I see sooo many people in serpent jackets staring at us. I immediately run back upstairs to Fp while Jordan keeps walking.

Fp's POV
Betty comes running back into my office and just gives me a big hug and doesn't let go. "Hey, what's wrong" I say softly B-"There are a lot of people down there and their all so tall and they look scary"(she is 14 but she is still very short for her age) she says crying. "It's ok do you want me to walk downstairs with you so you can meet the other junior serpents or do you just want to stay up here?" B-"could you please walk down with me?" "Of course". We start to walk downstairs and Betty grabs my hand and holds it tight. Before we make it down there I kiss the top of her head and squat down to her eye level "they may look scary but they are all truly very nice and all my friends ok?" B-"ok". We walk all the way downstairs and everyone. And I mean everyone was looking at us I can tell Betty was very uncomfortable and she just looked down at the ground as we walked over to the pool table where all of the junior serpents were. Her brother was over there and she saw that but she didn't let go of me. "Hey guys, this is Betty, she will be initiated tonight, please be nice to her" I let go of her hand and she walks over to her brother and I walk to the bar

Betty's POV
There are a lot of junior serpents who mostly look nice. After Fp let's go if my hand I walk over to Jordan and hug him. T(Toni)-"Hey,I'm Toni and I am 15 years old" SP(Sweetpea)-"I'm sweetpea and I'm 16 years old" F(Fangs)-" I'm Fangs and I'm 15 years old us three are like the leaders of all of the juniors" J-"Ok um I'm Jordan and I'm 17 years old" "And I'm Betty and I'm 14 years old" I say quietly. T-"Ok so Jordan, there are some other Juniors your age over there and Betty, you are the youngest serpent. When do you turn 15?" "July (it is July 30th right now)" Toni looks really confused since I didn't say a date just the month. T-"So you like just turned 14?" "Um yea."(I have a feeling we are going to be bestfriends). For about the next hour we just talked and talked about everything with our lives. I told them about my abusive parents, that I'm from the north side and all of that. We continued talking until Fp when up to the stage and Fp-"Ok,everyone that I appointed needs to get lined up, we have 2 initiations to do!"
