Part 11 - Raven Black Hair

Betty's POV
When I sat down on Sweetpeas lap Jughead looked as if he was jealous. No way, someone this hot was in to me. He had beautiful raven black hair, ocean blue/green eyes, very strong muscular arms and just an overall really hot face. "So Jughead, when is your birthday?" J-"In 4 days" "Really?!" J-"Yep what about you? When is your birthday" Tomorrow "I don't like my birthday so nobody will know when it is" I really just don't like attention on my birthday because it was the one day out of the year when my parents wouldn't beat me and they would pretend like we were this perfect family. J-"Oh, okay". "So um tell me more about you" J-"Well, I am 15 years old, a sophomore at southside high, I live in the trailer with my dad and I am the next serpent king. Your turn" "Well, I'm 13 years old. Almost 14. I am a freshman at probably southside but that is not final yet" i say giggling "I live in one of the apartments upstairs and yeah". J-"Wow" He says chuckling. T-"Let's go upstairs to mine and watch a movie" Sp-"Okay I'm in". We all (Fangs, Sweets, Toni, Jug, And me) all walk up to Toni's apartment and she walks over to her movie cabinet and picks out two movies T-"Okay so scream or the lion king" Sp-"Scream" F-"Scream" J-"Scream" "Anything but Scream" I say after they all respond at the same time. T-"You my lady have been out voted" I roll my eyes Sp-"You wanna sit with me?" "Yes please" w everyone sits on the couch and I sit on Sweetpeas lap. I'm always the one to sit on his lap because I am 13 and small for my age. Toni starts the movie and every single jump scare makes me jump and scream and everyone just laughs at me. One part really scared me and I hid my face into Sweetpeas chest and he just continued watching the movie and played with my hair. Jug noticed that I was really scared and whispered J-"Hey, are you okay?" I look at him with tears in my eyes and responded whispering "No" Jughead stands up and says J-"Me and Betty are going to make popcorn" I stand up and go with him. The others pause the movie and wait for us to come back. We walk into the kitchen and he starts to get the popcorn out J-"What's wrong?" I still had tears falling from my eyes "I just hate scary movies because of my past but I love hanging out with you guys so i thought I would be fine this time but I guess not" I rambled to him as more tears were threatening to spill J-"Do you want to watch another movie?" No it's fine I just don't wanna watch it. I'll just keep my face in Sweetpeas chest" I say with a giggle J-"Alrighty just let me know if you need anything" "Okay". The popcorn finishes and we walk back to the group. I sit back with sweets and bury my face into his chest before the movie even starts. I can tell that they are all looking at me Sp-"Hey, are you alright Betts?" B-"Yeah, I'm fine" I say looking up at him "I'm just kinda tired" Sp-"Alright" They continue the movie and I fall sleep in the same position.

Jughead's POV
Betty. That's all I can think about right now, her beautiful green eyes and her perfect blond hair. I feel bad for her though, I don't know much about her but I know she had a rough past. I can see that she has fallen asleep and the movie is almost over. When the movie is over I will ask them about her.
(About 15 minutes later)
The movie is now over "Since Betty is asleep I wanted to ask if you all know about her past?" T-"Well um I don't know if we can tell you that, she might not want us to. We will ask tomorrow-" She gets cut off by a sleepy Betty B-"Ask me what tomorrow" She said tiredly J-"About your past, if that's okay to ask" B-"Y'all can tell him, I'm going back to sleep" She drifted off into a deep sleep as soon as she finished talking.

Toni finished telling me the story and wow, I really feel sorry for her. Tomorrow we all have to go to school and Betty is going with us, Dad enrolled her into Southside high so she could go to school with us. It is about 1 am so we all decide to go home, Sweetpea carried Betty to her apartment, Toni was already in her apartment and me Fangs and Sweets walked back to our trailers since it wasn't far away. On our way back we didn't speak until F-"You like Betty don't you?" J-"Um... I guess. but it is just the first day meeting her so... I think you like her to sweets" Sp-"I love her as a sister. Ever since she came here we have been like bestfriends/ siblings. It will never be anything more because I'm almost 17 and she just turned 14... or so she says. We never got her to say her birthday." F-"It's obvious that she likes you and you like her so... you all need to hook up" J-"FANGS" F-"What? " He says laughing.
