Part 19 - Real Dad

(The next day)
Betty's POV
I wake up in my bed without Jug. I check the time and it is 6 am. I don't hear anything from the kitchen so i'm guessing that Jug is at school and Fp is at work. I'm in a shit ton of pain and nobody is here. I text Fp and say,

(Text messages)
B-"Hey Fp can you come bring me downstairs please?"
Fp-"Sure kiddo i'll be up     in a few minutes"
B-"Thank you❤️"
(End of Text Messages)

Since I have a few minutes I decide to look at instagram for a few minutes until dad-I mean Fp comes upstairs. Fp-"Hey, how ya feelin?" "Ummmm i don't know not much better i'm just bored" Fp-"Oh i'm sorry kiddo, wish I could do something to help but" "It's fine, i'll be okay eventually" He gives me a soft smile and carefully picks me up like jug did before. It hurt like hell but he can't know that. I guess he can feel my tears on his shoulder so he started rubbing my back and whispering sweet things i'm my ear such as Fp-"I love you" "Your okay" "don't cry" and everything like that. I love love love him so much. I've never know what it was like to have a dad and now i know. He carries me downstairs where there are some serpents. He sits me on one of our many couches and kisses my cheek before sitting me down. Fp-"Will you be okay here?" "Yea, you just go back to what you were doing thank you" I say in between tears. He gives me a small smile and goes behind the counter. Tallboy comes up and sits beside me. We have small conversation until he has to go back to work. I decide to take a nap considering I woke up at 6am.

I wake up about 5 hours later. It's 12pm and i'm hungry. "Hey Fp!?" Fp-"Yea Betty?" He yells back as he is walking to me "I'm hungry" I say looking up at him. He slightly chuckles and goes to get me some food. While waiting I text Jug.

(Text Messages)
B-"Hey Juggie."
J-"Hey betts how are you?"
B-"I'm surviving"
B-"How are you?"
J-"Bored, I hate school. Only 2 more hours"
B-"Yep two more hours"
J-"Alright, I gtg love you!"
B-"Love youuuu!!"

I put my phone down and Da-I mean Fp brings my food out. Why do I keep thinking like that. Fp-"Here you go" "Thanks dad- i- i mean Fp" I look up and he is smiling so big. "You like that don't you?" Fp-"Oh yea" He says with a huge smile. He kisses the top of my head and goes back to work. I eat my food while watching netflix. After about 3 episodes the bar doors open revealing most of the junior serpents with jug, sweets, toni and fangs in front. Jug walks up to me and gives me a passionate kiss while the others kiss my head or cheek. The five of us sit on the couch and we talk about their school day. When jug leaves to go to the bathroom Fangs asks F-"So betts, how have you been" "You can't tell Jug this but it hurts really bad. They said it was going to but still i don't want jug to know." They all nod and Jug comes back. J-"Do you all want to go upstairs and watch a movie?" "Are you inviting people to my apartment?" I said with a giggle J-"Well i basically live there to so.." He says with a smile.  We all agree to go upstairs. Jug picks me up and the others just walk. We go to the couch in my apartment and jug sits down with me on his lap. "Sweets, you can pick the movie" He smiles big and walks over to get the remote. Sp-"OMGGG" He yells J-"What?" Sp-"MEAN GIRLS IS ON NETFLIX" We all bust out laughing. I can tell that seeing me laugh makes them all happy "Ok then, let's watch mean girls" i say with a giggle.

Jughead's POV
When the movie is almost over I look down and see Betty sound asleep. I'm really worried about her. I can tell she is in a lot more pain than she says she is. The movie ended and we were all talking quietly until we hear crying and then sobbing. It's Betty. She's still asleep so i can only guess that she is having a nightmare. I whisper things in her ear and fondle her hair while sweetpea who is right next to us is rubbing her back. She starts to calm down and wakes up very suddenly gasping for air. She looks around and starts to sob again. She hides her face into my chest while i continue to play with her hair. She calms down and looks at all of us B-"I'm sorry" she says quietly. Sp-"It's okay, nothing to worry about." She slightly nods her head and hugs me tighter.
