Leo's P.O.V

"Come on, amore! You still have training to do if you're going to pass initiation!" I yelled at her whilst I put my trainers on. Monroe came out of the bathroom in shorts and a sports bra. "It's not my fault I'm tired! If anyone's to blame it's your nasty ass for keeping me up all night." She joked, tying her hair up which made me scoff. "There were no complaints about it last night. Now move. We've only got a week left to train you so we need to work hard."

She walked over to me and planted a small kiss on my lips. "It will be fine, stop stressing." She spoke delicately, making me relax slightly. Truth is, I was stressed. I was stressed in case she didn't pass. That meant she wasn't allowed to join. Not only that, I'd be forced to kick my own girlfriend out of the house. And that's not something I wanted to do. So I was pushing her hard, but only because I want her to succeed.

So we went out on another five mile run this morning along the beach. Her stamina was definitely getting better, I have to say. We even did some fighting skills. And I'm ashamed to say she was starting to kick my ass. Monroe has so much strength behind her that she wouldn't have a problem taking down an enemy with her fists. She read people quickly, allowing her to find their weaknesses.

She even developed a perfect shot when we went down to our shooting ranch. After today, she has reassured me slightly. But training is different to actual missions which I hope she realises.

After spending the whole day training, we got some dinner and relaxed for the rest of the night. That was pretty much how we spent the whole week. We either trained, chilled at home, went out for a while, or entertained ourselves in more mature ways.

Time had flown by on this trip and, before we knew it, we had arrived back in Manhattan ready for her initiation event tomorrow. I went for a shower and was looking for Monroe seems though it was nearly midnight as she wasn't in her room. Wandering round, I heard what sounded like two people fighting coming from the front of the house. Instantly I walked faster to be greeted by a sight I wasn't expecting. I thought someone had infiltrated the property.

But no.

It was Kat and Monroe fighting. They were going full out, not afraid of whether they would hurt each other. I didn't know at first whether they were actually fighting or not. "Don't let that left hook get sloppy!" Kat yelled as they swung harder, clearly indicating Monroe was getting in some last minute training.

I leaned against the door frame watching as Monroe ducked one of Kat's punches and kicked her in the chest, making Kat stumble back. They both mutually agreed it was time to call it a night. "You've got this, girl. Just make sure you use all of your senses. If your gut is telling you to turn and swing then you do it. Don't doubt yourself because that's where you'll lose. Trust your instincts and you'll be fine." Kat explained as they both caught their breath.

"I'm ready." Monroe stated as she drank some more water. I decided to head back inside before they saw me watching and I headed up to bed. I knew that I'd given her everything I could to prepare her for tomorrow. But I was still praying to anyone that heard, hoping she would pass.

Because, if she didn't, I knew that it would have to be the end of the road for her here. I know I'm the leader and I can bend the rules but it doesn't set a good example to everyone else. They all worked just as hard to be here and I know letting Monroe stay even if she loses will result in me losing the faith of my members. And that's not something I want to do, no matter how much i love Monroe.

I fell asleep that night with a troubled mind, anxious for what awaited us tomorrow.
