Only it's not Aurora but Cameron. His hands are pressed together, almost as if in prayer, and he is holding them up to his pursed lips. He looks miserable.

His curly hair is more disheveled than usual and there are dark circles underneath his eyes. And he's wearing a button-up and a white shirt underneath. Both shirts are wrinkled and looked slept in. He appears on the outside out how I feel on the inside.

I'm thankful for Katie's tip. She must have known he was coming by. Now I wish I'd let her tell me. I would've left earlier or snuck out the backdoor.

I stride past him. It's never as easy as walking away. He follows close behind me.

"Please, hear me out." He grabs my shoulders. I tense. Cameron must have noticed my reaction because he lets go. "Please, I drove all night." He pleads.

He knows me too well. I can't ignore him now. I'd feel terrible about it later. He'd driven all this way to talk to me in person. I should at least listen.

I begrudgingly shuffle around to face him. "Five minutes."

Relief flashes across his face and he gives me a hopeful smile. It transforms him from this sulking unfamiliar creature into the handsome prince I'd fallen in love with. I hope I'm not making a mistake.

"Can we go inside and talk?" Cameron asks cautiously. I stare into his hazels eyes while I think.

My mom had already left for work. If we went into my house, we'd be alone. I remember the last time we'd been left alone to our own devices. It had only been for a few minutes with my mother in the other room and I'd still lost my senses. The memory sends confusing shocks and signals down my body. His hand caressing me in all the right places. I physically shake my head to rattle the thoughts loose from my skull.

Cameron takes my gesture as the answer to his question.

"I didn't have sex with Ari." He says.

Her name on his lips is better than a cold shower. I remember the picture of him and Aurora. The smile on his face as he kissed her. And his body pressed against her naked body. I told him five minutes, but five seconds is sufficient. I walk away. He runs in front of me and blocks my path.
