"Emma get up." My dad softly says, trying to wake me up.

"I'm awake." I mumble.

"Em, it's one in the afternoon, get out of bed." He tells me.

"It's already one?!" I exclaim, suddenly wide awake.

"What are you freaking out about?" He questions.

"I'm meeting somebody at three!" I rush out of bed pushing my dad out of my room.

"Who?" He asks.

"Nobody.." I smile before shutting the door.

I go take a shower and once I finish I do my hair and makeup.

By the time I'm done it's a little past two, and I still have to figure out what to wear.

Sighing, I walk into my closet and try to decide what to wear.

Once I'm ready I take one last look in the mirror.

I smile before grabbing my phone and heading out to my car.

"Dad I'm going!" I shout.

"Have fun, be careful." He says showing up at the door.

I nod and unlock my car, climbing in. Taking a deep breath, I start the car.

Before heading inside I debate wether having a smoke is a good idea. With the amount of anxiety I have I'm thinking yes, but I don't want the smell of smoke on me.

Deciding against it I walk inside.

I look around and see Ashton's already there.

He hasn't noticed I've arrived and so I slowly make my way over to where he's seated.

"Hey.." I awkwardly say, sitting down.

"Oh hey, Emma." He beams. "How are you?"

"Uh, I'm good. You?" I reply, returning the smile.

His smile is contagious. It could light up a room.

"I'm great. Really... Great." Ashton tells me.

He giggles looking down then back up at me.

When I look up there's yet again, another girl coming up to Ashton.

"I'm sorry." He quietly says before standing up and quickly talking to her.

He sits down giving me an apologetic look.

"Um, I've noticed that there's been girls that like, always come up to you.." I stammer.

"Oh, yeah. They're fans." He replies. "I'm in a band."

I blush, "Oh, I'm sorry I-I don't really pay attention to recent music, I kinda only listen to stuff from a while ago."

He chuckles, "No, it's alright."

I give him a small smile still embarrassed.

"It's okay, really." He adds.

It's been a few minutes and I've already embarrassed myself.

Wow, great job Emma.

"So you're in a band huh?" I say, leaning back.

"Yea, I'm the drummer." He replies.

"Well that's cool." I smile.

"Yea, I like to think its cool." He smirks.

I giggle, which makes him giggle.

"Why don't you tell me a little bit about you?" He asks showing his smile yet again.
