Hope?

"Have you told them?" I whispered to Steve before we went in.

"Told them what?"

"About you know.....the reason for my powers?" I asked,

"No. I thought best if you told them." He said, I sighed. Right another thing to add to the list, We went in and sat down. Everyone was already there,

"I'm glad to see you up on your feet Miss Thistle." Started Fury,

"Look Mel we really need to know how you got you're powers. If we are to help your friend Jason." Stark started,

"Mason." I corrected,

"Yeah. If you want us to help him then you have to tell us." I took a deep breath,

"I was going to bring it up today anyway. I agree that it has got too far, I was under the impression that you had been told when I was undercover."

"Rogers said it was best to hear it from you." Natahsa told me, Steve held my hand in sign of support under the table. I took a deep breath,

"It all happened when I was 15." I began, I told them my story. I felt a lump come to my throut at times but I manage to tell them without getting upset. When I finished they sat in silence for some time,

"So Dr.Stein...."Started Clint,

"Was Dr. Frankinstein himself. He injected everything himself." I told them, Stark ran his hand down his face whilst Bruce ran his through his hair.

"What's important is that now you know so you can help Mason." I added, Stark and Bruce gave each other a look,

"You can help him?" I asked,

"My brother has a tighter grip on him then was thought." Thor told me, what?

"What Shakespeare means is that Massy."

"Mason."

"Is starting to remember what he's done after to shifts back." Stark told me,

"But that's good isn't it?" Bruce sighed,

"It also seems that Loki can control when your friend can shift."

"So he can attack me even when I'm myself?" I asked,

"Unfortunatly yes." Natasha added,

"There is something I should tell you." I said, they all looked concerned. I told them about what happened when Loki attacked our minds,

"So we have a demi-god wanting to use a shapeshifter to take over the world whilst we have someone who can turn into a raging blue thing with the snap of Loki's fingers on board.This is going to go well" Stark told us with a false smile. I gave him a death stare,

"You can't give yourself in." Steve said changing the topic, I turned to him.

"Then what can we do instead? Wait till Mason has distroied the whole building?" I realised after I said it that it was mean,

"I just think there is another way." He snapped back,

"Till we think of a plan no one is to leave this building." Nick orders us, we all give a murmered agree. Nick then started to play some of the footage I took. After around two hours we all finally got to leave the meeting. I took this as a chance to see Mason, as I walked towards his holding cell I sensed someone was following me. I stopped and crossed my arms with a smirk on my face,

"Steve! I know your following me." I spoke to my back, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Was I obivous?" he spoke into my neck,

"I have animal like senses. A normal person wouldn't of heard you." I looked up at him,

"Your going to see him?" He said it like it was an affair or something,

"He's my friend I have to make sure he's ok." I told him, we began to sway a little as we spoke. He rested his head on my right shoulder,

"He's your Bucky?" Who?

"Come again?" I said,

"He was like a brother to me." He explained, I nodded gently, I pecked his cheek.

"I'm coming with you." He told me, that isn't the best idea.

"You sure about that?"

"I promised to keep you safe and that is what I'm doing." 

"What did I do to deserve you?" I asked, He spun me slowly to face him.

"Well you showed Tony who's boss the first day I met you. Not many people can do that." He answered, I gave him a hug then started walking again.

"Come on then. " I said to him, he laughed as he came to my side.

"You really aren't like any girl I've met." He told me, I gave him a wink.

"I hope not." I grinned.
