How do I cope with depression?

A:Depression drains your energy, hope, and drive, making it difficult to take the steps that will help you to feel better. Sometimes, just thinking about the things you should do to feel better, like exercising or spending time with friends, can seem exhausting or impossible to put into action. But trying to do those things will make you forget you're sad and make you feel happy. Everyone deserves happiness. Trying to go out and do something like shopping or hanging out with family could really help you. If that doesn't work try to talk about it and that might make you feel better. Being sad is a waste of time. You deserve to be happy! Just try and look on the bright side and think happy and positive thoughts! Tell yourself nice things and very uplifting things too!
