*1 month since the incident*
Starfire looked at her reflection in the mirror. The bruises had faded, the cuts had healed, but on the inside she was still broken. She had fallen head over heels for Steel, just for him to betray her.
"Now I see how BeastBoy felt when Terra left for Slade" she thought to herself.
Starfire didn't like to stay in her room, it brought back too many bad memories now. BeastBoy had helped her clean it up and repair it and Raven had gone with her to the mall to get new decor to change her room up, but it still wasn't enough. Every night she would go to Robins room and ask to stay with him. When he wasn't there, she would go to Cyborg's room. It had gotten to the point Cyborg had installed a pull out bed just for her.
She looked once more at her skin before finally leaving the bathroom.
She walked over to the common room where she heard her team mates talking.
" I'm going to go check on her." A familiar voice said. She put her ear to the door, it was BeastBoy.
"I wouldn't do that BB. She probably just wants to be alone for now." Cyborg replied.
"I can't let her fall into that hole I fell into over Terra. She helped me in my darkest time, it's only right I am there for her." BeastBoy replied.
Cyborg stopped for a minute and thought about it. When he was feeling down about not being human Starfire was there to comfort him. She had always been there for him.
"Okay, Grass stain we will help her. together." Cyborg said.
BeastBoy smiled. He never wanted to see any of his team mates upset. That's what bothered him so much about Raven. She wouldn't let go of her emotions and he knew that she was hurting inside of her shell. He had a plan for her. He just didn't know how to execute it yet.
The boys turned around when they heard the metal doors slide open.
"Starfire!" BeastBoy exclaimed. "Me and Cy were just talking and..." he was cut off.
"I know BeastBoy I overheard you and cyborg talking about me." She said.
Cyborg walked up behind her and put a hand on her back. "Good then it's settled. Let's go to the mall and we will do whatever you want with you." He said smiling.
Her eyes widened.
"Whatever I want..." she said.
"Mhmm." The boys smiled and nodded in unison.
____________
"I can't believe you let her do whatever she wanted too." BeastBoy said grumpily. Starfire had decided she wanted to get her nails and hair done. So she made the boys do it with her, but since Cyborg didn't have hair or nails he got out of the activity by default. Beastboy on the other hand was perfectly primed and proper by the time to hair dryers timer had gone off.
" Friend BeastBoy, have you told Raven you have the feelings for her yet." Starfire asked.
His heart dropped.
Cyborg watched in amusement.
"How did you ?! But I..." BeastBoy stuttered.
"On Tamaran our powers are fueled by our emotions. From the time we are very little we are taught about each and everyone. That is how I know you like Raven. I can see it in everything you do when you are around her." Starfire said.
"Yea, I like her. I haven't told her yet though." BeastBoy sighed in defeat.
"Grass stain likes raeeeeevennnnnn." Cyborg started singing.
"DUDE SHUT UP!" BeastBoy yelled.
BeastBoy was steaming, Starfire was giggling, and Cyborg was doing a dance when robin called.
"Cyborg come in Cyborg." Robin called.
"What's up?" Cyborg answered.
"Have you seen Starfire, I walked to her room and she wasn't there I looked everywhere and I don't know where she went. I called her communicator but it's in her room." Robin said.
"Robi..." Cyborg was cut off
"I mean I don't know. If something happened to her I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I almost lost her to Steel I won't loose her. I can't." Robin rambled on.
"Cyborg I can't tell her but I love...."

"ROBIN." Cyborg screamed and flipped his arm around. Revealing a happy go lucky Starfire and a very fed up BeastBoy in a salon chair.
"She's fine man, we decided to take her out to get her mind off things. We didn't give her time to get her stuff so she left her communicator at home. It's cool man." Cyborg said. "Now what was it that you love?" He said raising an eyebrow and smirking.
"SILKIE. I LOVE SILKIE!" Robin screamed in embarrassment before hanging up.
Cyborg got a vibration on his phone. "Keep her safe." The text was from Robin.
"Always will." Cyborg replied before putting the phone back in his arm compartment.
After they left the salon they went to a couple different clothing stores.
As Starfire was looking through the clothes she decided to help BeastBoy out with something.
She picked out a couple of dark articles of clothing.
"Here" She said. " if you like Raven you need to tell her soon. Otherwise, you will loose your chance."
BeastBoy looked at the clothing in her hands. They were folded up nicely but he could tell that they were exactly up Ravens alley. "Thank you Star." He said.
"That's not all." She replied.
She pulled out a box she had purchased earlier. She handed it to him.
He opened it up.
Inside was a necklace with a black gemstone with silver accents.
"Give it to her." She said.
In the last month him and raven had gotten closer they hung out more. Stayed up late talking to each other. She even hid behind him once during a horror movie.
"I will" he said will a smile. "Thank you for everything Starfire."
She smiled as she grabbed her bags from the cash register, she walked over to Cyborg who had been watching from afar on a bench. As they waited for BeastBoy to check out with the clothes they talked. "Cyborg do you think I will ever truly be loved." She asked sadly.
"Starfire you are loved." He said as he glanced over at her.
"I don't know anymore. Steel hurt me. I trusted him, I loved him. And he left me in a dark place." She said sadly.
"Starfire, he was a bad guy. Not every guy is like that. I promise, you are loved by me. By BeastBoy. By raven. & especially by Robin." Cyborg said. "We are the ones you will never have to second guess."
With that she looked up at Cyborg and smiled, Knowing that whatever the future held she would have her friends to guide her.
