I really don't know what's going on anymore, so if you do know, please tell me.

The next day, Dallon gets up kinda early, careful not to wake Brendon. He makes them both breakfast and walking back into the bedroom, kissing all over Brendon's face to wake him up.

Brendon giggles, as he wakes up and he looks at Dallon, smiling.

"Good morning, beautiful," Dallon mumbles and Brendon smiles.

"Good morning, Dall." "I made breakfast." "Really?" "Yeah. Thought you might like it." "I love you." "I love you too."

Brendon sits up a little and Dallon gives him a plate with toast and scrambled eggs.

"Oh my God, yes. I love scrambled eggs." "I made a good choice, huh?" "Yeah, you really did. I love you so much." "I love you too."

Dallon sits on the bed, his legs crossed and they both just eat their breakfast in silence, for a while.

"You are looking so cute in my shirt," Dallon mumbles and Brendon blushes a little.

"Thanks, daddy. I think I'll wear one of your shirts during our trip, today." "Yes, please. You look really, really cute. And it just does something to me, I don't know how to explain it. It just makes me feel proud and kinda possessive because you're mine and you wearing my clothes kinda marks that. I don't know, I have issues." "No, that's actually cute and very sweet and you should know that I am yours and yours only."

Dallon smiles and kisses Brendon.

"Now, let's get out of bed because we've got quite the drive." "Where are we even going?" "I was thinking we could go to my place in Maine. If you want, we could stay there for a few days." "I'd love that." "Alright. Maybe we should pack some things, then." "Yeah. This is so exciting to me, for some reason. I've never been able to just go on a last minute trip!"

Dallon chuckles at how excited Brendon seems and he gets up, just packing them both some clothes and things like their toothbrushes.

Brendon just lies on the bed, asking Dallon if he has to help, several times, but Dallon just says no.

"Are you sure, babe?" "Yeah, I am. I'm almost done. You should get dressed though." "Says you, you're wearing just as much as me." "I know, honey. I'll get dressed after this."

Brendon sighs and gets up, quickly getting dressed.

He takes their dirty plates and takes them into the kitchen, washing them a d putting them back in the cupboards.

When he's done, Dallon hugs him from behind, their bodies flush against each other and Brendon smiles.

"Hey, baby," Dallon mumbles and he kisses Brendon's cheek, making the shorter man blush a little.

"Hi..." "You excited for your trip?" "Yeah, I really am." "Good."

Brendon suddenly turns around remembering something Dallon had said.

"Hey, babe?" "Yes?" "We decided to go for a drive after we were talking about your parents... So are you still gonna tell me about them, while we're driving to Maine?" "If you want me to." "Only if you're comfortable with it."

Dallon nods and smiles.

"Then yes, I will be telling you about my parents." "Alright. Do you wanna know about my parents?" "Of course."

Brendon pushes Dallon towards the couch and he giggles a little at the face Dallon makes as his legs hit the couch.

Brendon straddles his hips and sits back a little.

"Okay, my parents live in Las Vegas because my dad is a cook at one of the restaurants there. He spends most of his days cooking and when I was younger I was kind of a big kid because my dad always made me and my mom taste new things he was trying out."

Dallon chuckles a little and he nods.

"My mom always let my dad cook, except for her famous chicken casserole, which my dad didn't even dare make. My mom got the recipe from her mom, who got it from her mom and it's really a family recipe." "Well, if we ever adopt, you'll have to teach our kid," Dallon jokes and Brendon smiles.

"My dad is the funny guy at home, he always jokes with me and he was never the one to tell me I was grounded and stuff, he always let my mom do that. It was pretty funny because I remember always being reprimanded by my mom and my dad would just always sit behind her, nodding furiously and always agreeing with what he was saying."

Brendon smiles fondly at the memory and stays quiet for a few seconds.

"The thing you need to know about my parents, is that they're the sweetest people in the world who want what's best for me and they don't always agree with my choices. And sometimes it takes them a while to accept those choices, but they always do. And I just know that they're gonna love you because you are a smart, sophisticated man, the one they always told me to date."

Dallon blushes and Brendon smiles.

"Oh my God, they would love you, though. They're always happy for me, when I date someone and they will welcome you into the family as if you've always belonged there." "I can't wait to meet them, they seem sweet." "They really are."

Brendon suddenly leans down and just kisses Dallon.

"Sorry, I had to," he says, as he pulls back and Dallon smiles.

"I really don't mind."
