Heheh, I nearly uploaded this chapter to the first book xD Don't think I was particularly whelmed.

Conner, M’gann, Daphne and Misty were going to want to know what happened yesterday with the Electrocutioner. Dick and I were aware of this as we climbed into the Jaguar.

It was early and cold, but I had a special activity for the Team today. As we drove, Orion curled up on my lap. I lifted him to me; he was warm.

“Bet if you were wearing your uniform you wouldn’t be this cold,” Dick smirked. I shivered and glared over at him.

“It’s only fair I do it to,” I replied. Since it is a new year, the team had orders to show up in normal clothes- not their uniforms. I know it’d be hard for those who want a secret identity; but that’s to protect them from the bad guys, not their own team.

We parked in the hangar and I climbed out, walking away from Nightwing and into the lounge. “Where’s my Team?” I called out.

“Only us!” Someone replied from the sanctuary. Walking it, I discovered those who live in the cave plus Wondergirl and Blue Beetle.

“How did it go?” M’gann and Conner asked, walking over to me to talk quietly. I sighed and looked at the floor, before informing them that ‘Isaac’ didn’t show.

“Oh Hana, I’m so sorry,” M’gann, hugging me.

“Thank you but…I can’t help but think it is for the best that I don’t meet him. After all; he’s a criminal,” I admitted.

Looking around, the team seemed much more relaxed and comfortable in their own clothes.

Daphne and Misty walked in. Daphne wore what she always did; shorts, trainers and a crop-top, with a crop-top jacket over it that had the bat sign over the chest. She had many of these jackets, all of which are black with a different coloured symbol. Today, it was red.

Misty took the better path with a green sundress. Like me, she had adapted to the colour green among all things.

I grinned at Misty who walked over to me. “Once again, I am ditched for the insect,” she complained, leaning against my shoulder and watching Daphne and Jaime talk.

“Well, now you know how she feels when you abandon her for Tanner,” I said, pointing out that Misty does the same thing with her boyfriend.

“That’s different; Jaime and Daph aren’t dating, they just like each other a lot. Plus, I leave Daphne with Lily.” Lily, the girl who helped out at the hospitals when adults and children were split in dimensions, turned out to be a speedster.

Nightwing and I approached her about a place on the team. ‘Maybe one day,’ she had told us. Right now she had to help her mother take care of her siblings.

The rest of the team arrived slowly. A circle was set up. Misty tried, but abandoned the idea of trying to get Viper away from Jaime and resulted to sitting with Garfield and Robin.
