Chapter 9 - Just For You

As the morning rays hit her face, she woke up from her beauty sleep. She sat up with half open eyes. She pressed her forehead.

She saw warden entering with a tray. She tried to open her eyes fully but they were too stubborn and wanted to sleep once again.

"How are you feeling now?" Warden asked with a light smile

"Better" Piya managed to say with her dried throat

"Here have some food" warden placed the food in front of her

Piya looked at warden, she knew the reason of this early breakfast. Warden sat beside her.

"I got to know you are skipping meals" Warden looked at her "can I know the reason?" Warden asked

Piya looked down. She had nothing to say.

"I'm surprised Abhay Raichand brought you here and he knew the reason" Warden commented

Piya looked at her swiftly. She remembered Abhay words, when he had handed her to warden with so much care. She was herself surprised how Abhay knew the reason behind her sudden illness from some days.

It was right she wasn't having proper food which was costing her health. Sometimes, she ate a little and sometimes she won't even eat anything at all.

"Take care of yourself Piya because there's no one to look after you. Study is not everything, I agree study is important but health comes first. If you are working all night you should at least eat your food properly" warden talked to her softly

"Sorry ma'am" Piya apologised "I troubled you like this, I'll be careful from next time" Piya looked at her with puppy face

"Piya you are too innocent" warden touched her cheeks affectionately "just be careful" warden looked at her cautiously

"Try to be with the one who cares for you truly and understands you too" Warden smiled

Piya looked at her confusedly.

"Eat something okay" saying so warden walked away without explaining anything further.

Piya sat there pondering over warden's words.

Piya was entering the college when she stopped in her tracks as her gaze fell on Abhay. He was entering the college after parking his car. He too stopped seeing her, observing her to make sure she was fine.

She recalled how he had helped her with so much care and concern that she wondered who do this without reason and still acts like he don't care?

"Hey Piya" Kabir called her breaking their trance

Unwillingly she turned her head from him to Kabir but her eyes lingering on him as he walked away.

"Are you fine?" Kabir asked with concern

Piya nodded forcing a smile. She was a bit annoyed of his stunt of last night due to which all the drama took place. Neither he would've shouted at Abhay unnecessarily nor she would've stayed at party with empty stomach and tired body.

Though, her heart doubted her reasons. Was she really angry due to her health that deteriorated or due to his insults that he threw at Abhay?

"Thank God, we were so worried for you" Kabir grinned

Piya simply nodded. She didn't know how he get to know about her health. She didn't care either.

"And he thought that Abhay Raichand spiked your drink" Misha dropped the bomb coming from behind
