HE'S BAAAACK!! & Crying Shame😭

A few weeks later while heading outside of her home Zyanya felt a sharp pain go through her heart just as soon as she walks out the door and into the sun and she doubles over in pain with her hand laying up against her heart "Elijah!!"  she whispers worriedly then rushes to her car and drives to where she felt his presence.... Zyanya walks into and finds Elijah staked to a door "somebody's been a really bad vampire!"  she coos Elijah stops trying to pull the piece of wood out of his chest and looks up to find the woman he loves smiling at him then sees her rush over to him and lock her lips with his his eyes widen as she starts to remove his suit as quickly as her hands would allow "I'm sorry!"  she whispers breathlessly "I've seen your darkness but you've never seen mine.... and I....!"  she says after a small pause but she never got a chance to finish for his lips met hers again with a feverish sensual hunger and she pulls the piece of wood out of his chest making him gasp he spins her around and makes love to her up against the same door that he was just staked to drinking from her getting his strength back so he could love her properly "back home you come.... your kids miss you!"  she coos once they were spent and redressed he chuckles breathlessly and nods then she takes his hand and they walk outside together.... Tatiana, Ilyas and Henrik were excited and happy to see Elijah Tati and Lyas rush over to give Elijah a hug making him chuckle as they both wrap their arms around his waist Tati standing at his right Lyas at his left he looks down and smiles at them kissing their foreheads "guess what....?! you two FINALLY get to introduce your father to your friends!.... well their parents at least!"   Zyanya teases Tatiana, Ilyas and Elijah chuckle softly "you remember the story?!"  she asks her children who nod "what story!?!"  Elijah asks with a confused expression on his face Zyanya smiles at her children who take their father's arm and explain what they told their friends when they asked about him and why he was gone all the time then they take him to meet Mrs. Lockwood.... the next day while his children and youngest brother was in school Elijah went on a search for the ones who staked him.... "Slater"  Elijah hears Zyanya say from behind him a few minutes before he left he turns to look at her and hums "hmm?!"  she tells him "he runs a café in Richmond that is encased by UV glass.... that's who Rose will go too.... he LOVES gathering information!"  he rushes over to her using his vampire speed slides his hand up her cheek and through her hair then kisses her lips "go!.... and TRY to be back before your children get home! you've been gone for far too long!"  she says with a smile he returns her smile then kisses her again and rushes out of the house once again using his vampire speed.... Elijah turns when he senses Zyanya standing in the threshold of the front door "take the car.... it's an awfully long walk and I'm the only one who can tire you out old man!"  she teases tossing him the keys he smiles as he catches the keys rushes over to her with his vampire speed kissing her one last time before walking towards then getting into the car and driving away....

Elijah kept his word and was home before his kids and brother got home from school he spent the rest of the afternoon and well into the night with his family then was gone again in the morning to meet with his warlock for like Zyanya he didn't want her or their children to see the darkness that came out of him as he worked to get the moonstone from Elena, Damon and Stefan when he wasn't doing that and actually "working the town" he took Zyanya with him "hey Jenna I'd like you to meet my husband Elijah.... he's doing some research and Lockwood told him that you had some books he could borrow"  Zyanya says as they stand in the now open doorway of the Gilbert household Elijah's eyes widen at being called her husband but he quickly gets over the shock and smiles at Jenna who returns his smile as she replies "sure.... come on in.... I'll go get them out of the closet"   Elijah and Zyanya walk into the house and look around once Jenna's out of earshot Elijah whispers through his teeth "husband!?!"  she replies with a halfhearted sarcastic tease "I know!.... the stuff of nightmares right!?!"  his mouth gapes open and he whispers as though he can't believe she asked that "no!...."  she interrupts by saying "I didn't want people asking questions and they didn't want their pity!.... divorcee, widowed, unknown father, test tube baby.... unwanted surrogate!.... whatever other stories I could come up with having a traveling historian who visits when he can and didn't want his kids to miss anymore school by traveling with him sounded somewhat better.... we're not all soldiers Elijah!.... some of us create the wars instead of stopping them!"  he rushes over to her sliding his hand up her cheek and through her hair as his lips meet hers she smiles as he lets her lips go and whispers teasingly "I think she misses you!"  he smiles and walks towards the hallway "and by roped I mean very excited to participate"  Zyanya hears Jenna say loudly and she chuckles then she hears Elijah say "hey I'm Elijah.... my wife and kids have told me so much about you!"  curious as to who he was talking to Zyanya walks over and stands at Elijah's side and he wraps his arm around her waist "he's your husband!?!"  Elena asks with a shocked tone Zyanya nods as Jenna says as she takes a box out of Elena's arms "Elijah's in town doing research on Mystic Falls"  Elijah slides his arm off Zyanya's waist and walks over to Elena and says "it's a pleasure"  he reaches his hand out for Elena to shake which Elena does while staring at Zyanya and Elijah "do you know you're welcome to stay here and rummage through this stuff or Elena and I could help you load it into your car"  Jenna says as she walks back over and stands by Elena "yeah or I can get someone to pick it up tomorrow"  Elijah replies "we wasted enough of your time Jen and he has yet to spend time with his kids today so....!"   Zyanya adds Elijah smiles and says as he reaches over to shake Jenna's hand "thank you so much for inviting me into your home Jenna and for taking good care of my kids when they come over and Elena.... I hope to see you again sometime soon"  Elijah sees the sadness in Zyanya's eyes as they follow Jenna to the front door and he squeezes her hand gently he knew she hated seeing others see him as the "enemy" but he'll be whatever he needs to get the "job" done.... Elijah left Zyanya's side for a few seconds to give Elena a warning before they left.... Zyanya laid down on the hood of the car with her back laying up against the window as she stared at the stars waiting for Elijah she felt him lay down beside her and heard him say gently "you didn't have to wait for me"  she turns her body so that she now lays on her side and replies softly "I wanted to!"  his lips meet hers and his hands travel over her body sliding under her shirt and over her breasts "she's watching you know?!.... are you really that DESPERATE to give the Gilbert's a show!?!"  she teases him breathlessly he chuckles then asks "why not!?!"  she replies "that's a very Klaus thing to do Elijah!"  he slides his hand away from her breast and out of her shirt then moves away from her she rolls of the car and lands on her feet acting like she didn't see the expression on his face then climbs inside the car waits for him to do the same and drives away in silence.... 

Elijah was surprised that Zyanya knew where he "wanted" to go as she parks close to the tomb that Katerina was trapped in then climbs out of the car and walks away from him he climbs out of the car and follows her down into the tomb and hears her coo "bad kitty!"  he chuckles as he walks up behind her gently pressing his body up against hers as though he was a part of the air that surrounds them in other words his body was touching her and yet not touching her at the same time "Elijah"  Katerina gasps softly as she backs away slightly in fear once she sees him "good evening Katerina thank you of having the good sense to be frightened"  Elijah replies "of who I wonder!"  Zyanya teases under her breath Elijah chuckles then says as he looks at Stefan "your release has been requested"  Stefan looks at Zyanya in shock "don't look at me! you told me not to interfere remember?!"  Stefan chuckles shaking his head at her "the lovely Elena drives a hard bargain however we have reached a peaceful agreement she and I"  Elijah tells him as he places his hands on Zyanya's arms just below her shoulders "his warlock lifted the spell"  Zyanya tells Stefan who nods and walks through the threshold of the tomb trusting her word over Elijah's she takes Stefan's hand and walks out of the tomb sliding out of Elijah's grasp as she does so "you know for creatures who hate each other so much they sure are fond of using one another for their own "greater good"!"  Zyanya says as they walk away Stefan laughs and a smile graces the corner of Elijah's lips as he compels Katerina to stay right where she is then follows them out "Elena will explain the arrangement to you if she keeps her word I'll keep mine"  Elijah tells Stefan once he reaches him and Zyanya who were standing by her car Stefan and Zyanya turn to face him as soon as they hear his voice "come on Stef we'll give you a ride!.... I'm sure you have questions anyway"  Zyanya says Stefan chuckles softly then replies "many!"  Zyanya smiles at him and the two of them climb into the car leaving a sad confused looking Elijah by himself yet again as he follows them and sits in the passenger seat of the car.... the ride was silent but surprisingly not awkward as they drop Stefan off at Elena's then head home themselves.... the next day Zyanya walks towards the memorial for those they lost the night before and sees Jeremy talking to a man with blonde hair and blue eyes and she walks over to say hi "hey Jer.... Mr Gilbert"  Jeremy turns and replies with a smile "hey Z"   as the blonde looks at her and asks curiously "do I know you!?!"  Zyanya replies "probably not..... Zyanya Mikaelson"  she holds out her hand for him to shake as he stares at her in shock but takes the outstretched hand and kisses her knuckles "thank the stars my husband isn't here at the moment!"  she teases John chuckles as he lets go of her hand which she automatically slides through Jeremy's arm and teases "so Jer.... treat this poor starving woman to lunch!?!.... I forgot my wallet!"  Jeremy chuckles then replies with a smile "sure!"  Zyanya says as the two of them walk away "nice to meet you John"  John replies as he watches them walk away with an awed expression on his face "you.... too!"  as soon as they were out of John's sight Zyanya lets go of Jeremy and nods over to Bonnie who was chatting with Elijah's warlock Jeremy smiles and walks over to them with a wave to Zyanya who smiles at him as Elijah walks over to her and stands at her side "Elena's brother and another of our kids best friends"  Zyanya tells him when she feels his presence and Tatiana, Ilyas and Henrik join them as they walk over to the memorial.... that night Tatiana joins, Bonnie and Elena at the slumber party for Caroline and Ilyas goes to hang out with Jeremy Elijah begins to worry that he's losing Zyanya because ever since their makeout session on the car she has been seemingly avoiding him he knew it was because he moved away from her when she mentioned his brother but she should have gotten over it by now instead she's putting on a happy face in front of their kids but never meeting his eyes or answering his touch when he wraps his arm around her waist or tries to show any signs of affection
