Bruce ~ Cookies

"Does anyone know where Bruce is?" You asked everyone in the living room. You hadn't seen him all day, and you really wanted to see his pretty face

"He's probably down at the lab." Wanda said, not looking away from the Tv

"He doesn't want to be bothered, but I'm sure he'll take a break for his girlfriend" Tony teased you, making you blush

"We aren't dating Tony" you said leaving the room

"Keep telling yourself that" he continued watching Tv as you made your way down to the lab.

As the elevator doors opened you heard clanking sounds coming from the back. You smelled smoke and quickly ran to try and find him

"Bruce? Bruce are you ok?" You found him with a mask on, and when he removed it his hair was a mess and his face smudged with dirt. You giggled and tried to rub it off his face

"(Y/n), what are you doing here?" He asked

"I wanted to see how you were doing. You should take a break, get some fresh air" you suggested, but he shook his head

"I need to finish this first" he insisted, and tried to put the mask back on but you took it away from him

"Bruce you spend too much time in here. Come on just for a few minutes" you tried to convince him. You grabbed his arms and pulled him up from his chair. He smiled, making your heart flutter.

"Now how about we make some cookies" you both went up to the kitchen and got all the stuff to make the cookies. You went to get the measuring tools while he got the ingredients.

"So what do we do first?" He asked, getting the eggs

"Do I look like I know how to make cookies?" You joked. You asked FRIDAY for a recipe and it came up on the fridge (one of those fancy fridges with screens on the door)

You both got started, and soon enough the kitchen was a mess, with flourand egg everywhere. Even though it was a mess you and Bruce were having a great time

You put the cookies in the oven and wiped your hands with a towel

"Oh- you missed a spot" Bruce said, gesturing at your face

"Huh, where?" You said, trying to wipe it off

"Here let me get it for you" he said, stepping closer and using his thumb to wipe something off your cheek. He blushed when he realized how close the two of you were

"There" He said, stepping away. But before he could you pushed your lips into his. When you pulled away he had a shocked expression on his face, and his cheeks were red.

"I-I'm sorry-" he kissed you a again, a gentle but passionate kiss. He wrapped his arms around you and you rested your hands on his chest.

When the both of you pulled away you stared into each other's eyes for a while

"Maybe taking that break was a good idea" he breathed, smiling at you.

"Yeah and maybe you should take breaks everyday" you kissed him again, so happy to finally kiss Bruce.
