Tony ~ Stars

You ran. Trying to scream, but no noise came out of your mouth. The pound of your footsteps hitting the stone hard floor as you ran. Faster than you ever had. Running away from something. Something dark and twisted and scary. You weren't sure what, but you knew you didn't want to find out. And when you turned the corner, a dead end. That was it. You turned around and pressed yourself against the wall, hearing it whisper your name sending shivers down your spine.

"(y/n)... (Y/n)!" You jolted awake in a cold sweat, gasping for air despertó y as you tried to calm yourself.

"It's ok, your safe now" a voice said. It's ok. You were safe. You took a few deep breaths and felt something squeeze your shoulder. When you turned to see what it was you found Tony standing next to your bed

"Tony?" You asked in a hoarse voice, your heart still racing. He gave you a small smile and helped you sit up

"I was just walking past your room and heard you talking, I thought you were awake but I guess you were having a nightmare. You ok?" You looked down at your hands, which had small crescent shaped scars around your palm. Ever since that mission you went on you hadn't gotten a single good nights rest. What you saw in that abandoned warehouse...

Tony gently grabbed your hands and held them together, making you look at him

"Hey, it's over now. What they were doing is over. We stopped them remember?" He looked at you with kind eyes, and you looked at his hands around yours

"I know I just... god I just can't forget what happened and..." He sighed and pulled you up from the bed.

"What are you doing?" He led you out of your room, in your my little pony pajamas and all, and led you up the stairs (you tripping more than once)

"I know what your going through. I've had a lot of sleepless nights too. But there's always two thing that helps me feel at least a little better." He took you to the top floor, then climbed up some more stairs you had never known of and opened up and door to the roof. Through the door you saw millions of tiny lights illuminating the dark night, and a beautiful full moon to complete the setting. You walked on in awe, your bare feet stepping on the cold floor

"Tony I... this is beautiful" you kept your eyes glued to the sky, and. Tony smiled at how beautiful you looked right there in the light of the full moon.

You looked away from the stars back at him, with a questioning look. He had pillows and blankets in each hand, you had no idea when he'd gotten them. He put them down and laid down on them, and you were surprised when you laid down next to him to find that the floor wasn't hard. It was.. soft. Like a mattress. Must be some kind of Stark tech or something

He looked up at the stars and you looked at them too, but you remembered something

"Whats the other thing?" He looked at you questioningly

"You said there were two things that made you feel better. What's the other?" He smiled at you softly

"It's you (y/n). You've always been there for me and I can't help but feel happy around you." You smiled at him, and made the decision to finally kiss him. And god was that the best decision you've ever made

You leaned in and pressed your lips to him, and he kissed you passionately.

"I was waiting for you to do that" he smirked at you and you laughed softly

After that perfect kiss, you both snuggled in together and fell asleep under the millions of twinkling stars.
