"What's her/his name?" A stranger approached you with his dog, who seemed to be getting along with your dog.
"(d/n)" you answered the brown haired boy,"Yours?"
"Tessa" he answered, smiling at you. "I've never seen you around here before?" He asked, as the two dogs chased each other around the park
"I just moved to this area" you looked over at the dogs and they seemed to be having a lot of fun. You both got to know each other, you found out his name was Peter, and that he went to the same school you were going to.
"Well it looks like they really get along" he said, and you nodded. Then, you saw (d/n) run up to a guy, happily barking at him. Your ex. He had cheated on you, and you broke up with him. Seeing him made you want to make him mad. You heard Peter talking but you didn't really listen, then you saw your ex looking around to find you.
"Kiss me" you interrupted him. His eyes widened and then he blushed furiously
"W-what?"
"My ex is here. Kiss me" before he could react, you grabbed his by the sweater and pulled him in for a kiss. He tensed up and was really startled, but before long you pulled away, and saw your ex staring at you, not so happy anymore. You smiled to yourself when you saw him leaving with an angry expression on his face but then remembered the shocked boy standing next to you
"I'm so sorry I should not have done that, i wasn't thinking straight I just saw him and thought "oh shit" and I wanted to make him mad but anyways I should not-" you desperately tried to apologize.
"No no it's ok" he said, passing his thumb over his lip and smiling to himself
"God it's going to be so awkward between us now isn't it? Why did I do that" you sat down on a bench and tried to hide your face with your hands.
"No really, it's ok. And you know what? Why don't we go get some coffee or something?" He asked you. You looked over to him
"Really? You don't think I'm crazy?" You asked him
He laughed "No, you're not crazy" he got up and called over his dog
"I need to get back home but, I'll see you here tomorrow around 4:00?" He said, trying the leash around his dog
"Its a date" you smiled at him and called (d/n) over
"And maybe this time, I'll be the one who sees my ex" he walked off with your dog, leaving you with your dog. Who knew you'd get a date with the cute stranger while walking your dog?
