Bucky ~ Pretend

"Alright Im heading out. (Y/n) you coming?" Tony asked you, getting up from his seat. You, as usual, were watching tv in a comfortable hoodie wrapped around in blankets.

"Nope" You said, not taking your eyes off the tv

"Oh come on you never go out!" He complained, getting in front of the tv. You frowned and paused the tv

"Yeah Well I like it in here" you protested and tried to move to be able to see the tv, but he kept blocking it

"You know he's right (y/n)." Steve said, and you turned around to see him sitting at the counter

"Oh so you're taking his side?" You said and he quickly got up in defense

"I'm not taking sides here" he said, then stepping over to where you and tony where "I just think you should go out more, enjoy time with your friends, go get a boyfriend-"

"I have a boyfriend" you blurted out without thinking. The boys eyes widened and you nodded

"Yep. I got a boyfriend." You repeated

"Really? So uh... what's his name?" Tony asked, crossing his arms. He didn't seem to believe it.

"H-his name?" You said, "well uh you can find that out yourself. Tomorrow."

"Tomorrow huh? You mean at my party?" He said, and you went with it

"Yes! Yes tomorrow at your party you will meet my boyfriend" you nodded, completely lying

"Alright then. Can't wait to meet him" he smiled and left with Steve, leaving you to figure out how you were going to make this fake boyfriend real.

5:30 pm

Only 30 more minutes until Tony's party and you had no boyfriend. You had thought about making Nat dress up as a guy and pretend to be your boyfriend but you couldn't find a wig in time

So now all you could do was hope tony and Steve had forgotten about it and wouldn't bring it up. You slipped into your red dress, put on your heels, did your hair and headed up to the terrace where the party was

Once you got there it was already crowded, with loud music and people dancing. You really weren't a fan of crowd and under normal circumstances you would be in your room watching Netflix. But you were determined to prove Tony and Steve wrong. You weren't just an Introvert girl who had like 3 friends. You were social. Ok not really but you were at least trying to be

You walked over to the bar and stayed there for a while hoping Tony or Steve wouldn't come. But how could you expect Tony to be at a party and not go to the bar

So low and behold, He found you there alone at the bar with a drink in your hand.

"(Y/n)! Was your boyfriend not able to make it?" He said sarcastically

"No he's on his way," you said trying to think of an excuse, "there's just a lot of traffic"

"Of course. Traffic" he said, in an understanding way but you knew he knew you were lying. "Well you let me know when he gets here"

He winked at you and you rolled your eyes, then Steve walked over. You knew the two of you were going to keep nagging you about your "boyfriend" so you decided to do something

You saw Bucky talking to someone else nearby. It was probably dumb but grabbed his sleeve and pulled him over to you

"Meet my Boyfriend!" You said, and Bucky stood next to you looking really confused

"Wha-" you elbowed him softly and whispered discreetly, "just go with it"

"Bucky is your boyfriend?" Tony asked, very much surprised. Steve looked shocked

"Yes we've been dating for a while now but we decided to keep it secret because we didn't want to make a big deal out of it" you said with a big smile, intertwining your fingers with his. Bucky just stared at you, his face slightly flushed

"Uh yeah we are a couple" He finally said, smiling at Tony and Steve

"How come you never told me Buck?" Steve said, looking a little offended

"I'm sorry Stevie but at least you know now! And um- you know too Tony" he said,

Tony still didn't really look convinced though

"So... you two are a thing huh? You've had sex?" He asked

"Yes" you said, at the same time bucky said "No"

Tony looked at the both of you two suspiciously

"I- I mean no. We haven't I was just saying yes because.. Hey look my drink got refilled!" You said enthusiastically, holding up your glass. the bartender gave you a weird look

Tony was still suspicious. He looked at you, then at Bucky, and then he smirked

"Alright, if you two are really a couple I'm sure you wouldn't mind kissing" he said, a smirk plastered across his face.

Both yours and Bucky's faces went red, and Tony smiled wider

"Of course we can, see" you turned to Bucky and gave him a quick peck on the lips, but tony shook his head

"No no, a real kiss" he said, crossing his arms

Bucky turned to look at you and you did the same.

"Here goes nothing" you said taking a deep breath, placeing your hand on his cheek and then pressing your lips to his. His tongue touched your lips, asking for permission and you let them in. He kissed you gently, but also a little rough. When he pulled away you were breathless. And his cheeks were blushing

"Wow. Ok I guess you two really are a thing." Tony said, looking a little embarrassed and then walked away, "You chose a good one Barnes"

Once he walked away you turned back to Bucky and buried your face in your hands in embarrassment

"I'm so sorry for making you do that" you apologized to Bucky, dropping your hands from your face

"No don't be I... I actually kind of enjoyed it" he said, the corner of his lips curling into a smile

You blinked at him, noticing how his blue eyes sparkled when the light hit it and how his soft curls fell on his forehead* You noticed how handsome he looked in the moonlight in his Navy Blue Suit.

"I... I did too" you breathed.

"Thank you" you said, clearing your throat.

"Y-yeah don't worry about it" he said. He gave you a small smile before walking away.

You and Bucky continued pretending to be a couple whenever you were around Tony or Steve. You two grew really close, and the fake relationship soon turned real.

Hey guys I know the ending was kinda crappy but I still hope you liked the story.

*Bucky has short hair in this story and he will for the rest of my imagines with him because in the Sam Bucky show he will have short hair and he looks so freaking CUTE
