Clint ~ Race

" Everyone ready?" Cap asked us. We were saving some hostages from a building. It was Cap, Natasha, Clint and you. You were going in teams, Steve with Nat and Clint with you. We're were kind of happy you were going with Clint, he was your best friend. But you also kinda had a crush on him so you hoped things wouldn't get awkward.

"Alright. (Y/n) and I will go in from the north entrance, hack into the security system and disable them" Clint went over the plan, getting his bow ready. You both looked at each other and nodded, before running into the building

"You know where the control panel is right?" You whispered to him, trying to sneak past the guards

"I know it's on the third floor" he whispered back

"I bet I can find it first than you" you smirked at him, and he raised his eyebrows.

"Ok (y/l/n), you're on" He turned the corner and silently ran to the stairs, you doing the same.

You passed him running up the stairs, but not looking where you were going you ran into a guard. The guard threw his fist at you but you dodged, then kicking his side and knocking him out with a punch. Clint chuckled behind you and kept running up the stairs.

You ran after him, but heard a gunshot upstairs. You ran faster and saw Clint fighting two guards down a hallway, he seemed to be handling himself well, so you kept running. You caught his eye and winked at him as he punched one of the guards to the ground.

You ran, desperately trying to find the control room. Finally, you found the door at the other side of a long hallway. You heard footsteps and got ready to fight, but it was just an out of breath Clint.

You looked at each other and then the door, before running as fast as you could to it. He friend to trip you and you pulled his shirt, and right before you were going to touch the door, you tripped and he got there first

He threw his hands up in triumph "And Clint Barton reaches the door first, milliseconds before (y/n)! It was a close race, but no one can beat Hawkeye!"

You rolled your eyes and got up, trying to hold back your smile.

"Alright fine, you won. But if I hadn't tripped I would have beaten you" you quietly opened the door and stepped inside, going over the the monitors

"No way, I would have beaten you anyways" he stood by the door keeping guard while you started working on disabling the security systems. A few quick strokes on the keyboard and it was done.

"Security systems disabled. You two are safe to come in" you spoke into your earpiece to Natasha and Steve.

"Good Job (y/n). lay low until we're done" Steve answered back

"Got it Cap" you got up from the chair you were in and went over to Clint

"I would ask you to race back out, but I would feel bad for making you lose again" he smirked at you

"I would not lose again" you corrected him, looking down the hallway.

"Whatever you say" he said sarcastically, and you turned to face him

"You want a race? I'll give you a race. But let's make it more interesting. Whoever wins can make the other person do anything they want" he thought about it for a second, then extended his arm for you to shake it

Instead, you high fives him and ran down the hallway

"That's cheating!" He called after you

"I never said it wasn't allowed!" You raced down the stairs as fast as you could, not looking behind you. When you saw the exit to the building you smiled to himself

But then you saw Clint leaning against the doorframe with a smirk on his face

"H-How?" You were out of breath, and you were pretty sure he hadn't passed you while you were running

"The window." He smiled at you and you scowled at him

"I can't believe-!" he pushed his lips into yours before you could finish. You were shocked but eased into it. When he pulled away all you could do was smile

"What was that for?" You asked him, now his arms around you

"Well, I've been wanting to do that for a while.. I just didn't know when. And seeing you so determined to win made me like you even more. Plus, you're cute when your mad"

"Aww, you guys are so adorable!" You heard Nat say through the earpiece and blushed

"Seriously guys?" You asked them

You and Clint laughed, then he gently kissed you again.
