Arabella Winston

(Six months later. May 25)

Who knew in six months so much could change?

In six months my little Scarlett has grown like a weed. Now she blabbers all the time, non stop. She can crawl, and the day it happened was one I would never forget.

"Come on monkey, come to daddy." Harry cooed. Scarlett stuck her tongue out halfway, her facial expression showing concentration as she moved her little hand up in the air.

"Come on baby, you can do." I shook her plush monkey Harry got her a few months ago. She immediately was attached to it, non of us being able to get it out of her hands.

Slowly but surely she moved her back leg, then her hand, then her back leg again. Me and Harry looked at each other in bewilderment. Harry rushes to her and picked her, holding her above him in the air making her giggle and blow a raspberry.

"My monkey can crawl!" A tear streamed down my face as I cheered and Harry held her against his chest. I leaned over and kissed her curly head making her giggle and point her arms out to me. I grabbed her happily, kissing her small cheeks.

Her new favorite word is dada, and she loves giving hugs and kisses. Even though she can say mom, surprisingly, her favorite word is still Dada.

"Come here munchkin." She mumbled baby words while crawling around the corner where Harry was crouched down with open arms. He stood her up and held her with his fingers to keep her stable. He puckered his lips and she leaned in, giving him a sloppy kiss. I giggled and watch there interaction, not wanting to disturb them. Harry has been gone all day at base and I stayed back today, not wanting to bring Scarlett.

"Dada." Her tiny voice mumbled before more gibberish came out. My eyes widened and I walked over to them, Harry's face showing just as much surprise as mine.

"Say it again Scar. Who am I?" Harry encouraged. Scarlett's finger were in her mouth before she took them out and looked at me with wide green eyes. She puckered her lips and I kissed them before encouraging her again.

"Dada." Harry picked her up and cradled her into his chest. My heart warmed at the sight but I laughed as well. She was always daddy's girl.

"Harry, I love you, but just know the next kid we have I will be there favorite." He chuckled and leaned over to connect our lips.

"So you want more kids now?" He questioned making me shrug.

"I don't know. I want more, but in the future. I really just want all attention on Scarlett right now." I moved my hand to run through her curls, them bouncing back after my fingers passed.
