As mentioned before You had the day off so after having a hot shower you got dressed, preparing to head out and retrieve your clothing but that damned storm was still going outside, you would sigh as you watched the rain pour down in front of your window, eventually deciding it would be best to have a friend take you to the ribbon at least, so you called one of your closer friends to ask for a ride and put on your rain boots and jacket before picking up an umbrella as well and waiting by the door, you smiled, excited to see Oswald again, you hoped he wouldn't be busy during the day as you had only seen him during later hours your friend arrived soon enough and you got into their car.

By the time you had managed to direct them to the woods the rain had slowed but it was still enough to need your umbrella, your friend gave you a skeptical and somewhat worried look as you headed straight for the woods after getting out of the car "don't worry, I'll be alright...you can go home, I'll call you to pick me up in a little while" you told them as you searched for the ribbon, it took a while to find this time as it had been ripped down and was now laying torn on the ground rather than in the usual delicate bows around the trees, it still formed a decent enough path for you to follow and you reached the tent soon enough but something felt wrong in a way, something about the tent seemed almost dreary, giving off an air of discomfort, you hesitantly stepped inside anyway, it looked the same as always, one side too dark to see and the other dimly lit, you cautiously walked towards your seat at the small tea table, taking notice of the cards and game pieces scattered on the ground, crunching beneath your hesitant steps, you would freeze as you heard shuffling from the other side of the tent "Oswald?" You questioned, squinting into the darkness but earning no response, eventually rationalizing that it must have been the echo of your own footsteps, that is until you heard a clatter, as if something had been thrown onto the floor, you took a curious step towards the darkened half of the tent "Os-" that was all you managed to say before you were swept up into the air, pulled into the darkness by something you now couldn't see, it held you around your ribs tightly but not like an arm, more like a massive snake, like a tendril, you were squeezed tightly as several more of the things wrapped about you, tighter and tighter until you couldn't breath, you tried to scream but it came out as nothing more than a strangled wheeze and then as quickly as it had started it ended abruptly with a growl and then a thud as you and whatever held you crashed to the ground, your last memory being the sound of Oswald shouting angrily and the feeling of your head colliding with the ground before your Vision faded black and your thoughts spun dizzily and your ears buzzed louder than any sound you had heard before
