After a short discussion about how, if you ever went home, you wouldn't tell anyone about Splendy, or anything that happened while you were out in the woods, Splendy proceeded to pick you up yet again, carrying you with one arm as he headed into the kitchen, humming as he started to pull out baking ingredients "so I heard you have to make a cake huh? What kinda cake are you making?" You asked as you rested your head on the giant's shoulder "cheesecake, I was going to make a spice cake but since I missed his birthday already I figured I should make his favorite...which is cheescake if you didn't already guess that" he answered, pulling a few blocks of cream cheese out of the fridge and setting them out on the counter "need to send someone to town to get more food soon" he grumbled, getting a few more things ready before actually starting to put the cheesecake together, you watched since that's all you really could do at the moment, your eyes darted to his face and you offered a sweet smile before kissing his cheek with a small giggle, returning the gentle kiss which he had placed to your forehead earlier his eyes widened and he looked at you with a bright blush on his cheeks before a rather comedicly exaggerated sheepish smile crossed his face and he made a strange sort of purring noise, after a moment he seemed to suddenly remember that he was supposed to be doing something and turned his focus back to the dessert he was making, the smile not leaving his face, soon enough he placed the cheesecake in the oven and sat in the living room, placing you against his chest as he lightly nuzzled the top of your head, the two of you stayed like that until the timer went off and he had to get up to retrieve the cheesecake from the oven, he placed it out on the counter to cool as he mixed some sugar into canned strawberries seemingly to put them on top of the dessert, this time you were watching from the couch, peering over the back of the seat and watching with fascination as he finally put the cheesecake onto a tray and put the topping on it, starting to clean the kitchen, that part wasn't what fascinated you though, the fascinating thing would be the two odd tendrils that protruded from his back to assist him with cleaning, they each had a bell attached at the ends and were a charcoal black color "what are those?" You questioned, he looked at you with a confused expression, looking at what he currently held in his hands which was a rubber spatula and a whisk "...cooking utensils?" He mumbled "no not those, the things on your back" he furrowed his brow and looked over each shoulder with a confused expression before realising what you were talking about "oh those...theyre kinda just like extra arms I suppose" he explained as the tendrils quickly retracted into his back and he set the last of the cooking supplies into the sink before picking up the tray with the cheesecake "I'm going to take this to masky before he comes looking for it...it'd be best if you stay here...and stay away from windows..ill be back quickly" he mumbled
