The next morning you woke pressed to Splendy's chest which you had become somewhat used to by now, you would hum sleepily as you gripped onto his clothing loosely and looked up at him with tired eyes, he was already awake and looked at you with a soft smile "good morning y/n" he whispered as his fingertips lightly traced along your jaw, you closed your eyes again, enjoying the gentle contact for a bit before sitting up and stretching your still-sore body, groaning quietly before looking down at your filthy bloodstained clothing, how long had it been since you had changed clothes? You looked towards Splendy then, he wore the same now-wrinkled shirt he had been wearing since you met him, how long had it been since either of you changed clothes??, you wrinkled your nose at the sudden realization that it had been days "I need a shower" you mumbled, slowly getting up and picking up your spare clothes which had been left on the bedside table "you need one too mister" Splendy sat up and yawned, rubbing his eyes as he grumbled "I don't fit in the shower...its not like I sweat anyway...ill go to the lake after we confirm no one is going to murder you if that makes you feel any better" you nodded, heading for the bathroom and realizing a moment later that Splendy was following you "what you wanna watch or somethin?" You questioned, turning to look at him at which point his face turned bright red "WHAT?! NO NO-" he cleared his throat and quickly composed himself again "I was just going to wait outside of the door in case anything happened" he said, giving a sort of sheepish smile as he folded his hands in front of his chest, you gave him a skeptical look but after almost dying yesterday you weren't going to question him "alrighty, I'll shout if I need anything" you said, heading into the bathroom and closing the door

soon you opened the door to leave the bathroom, dressed in clean clothes and still in the process of drying your hair, Splendy stood up from the floor next to the door and you saw that he had changed clothes and now wore a pink button-up with a black bowtie and pants, definitely tame compared to his usual outfit, you would chuckle quietly as he picked you up "well doesn't somebody look handsome today" you said as you straightened his shirt collar before gently kissing his cheek at which point he giggled quietly with a light blush "oh stop, I look the same" he mumbled, going to the kitchen and giving you a granola bar for breakfast "you ready to go?" He asked, you nodded "mhmm, let's go see the murderers, hopefully make them less murdery" you answered, with that Splendy headed outside, starting to walk towards another mansion-like building in the the distance, maybe a mile or two away, but with Splendy being a literal giant with legs as long as you were tall this walk wouldn't take long at all and so you took no time in preparing yourself to meet...whoever you were going to meet
Splendy knocked on the door of the rickety giant old building, clearly not taken care of as well as Splendy's house, and you gripped onto his shirt, not knowing what to expect, soon the door was opened and you saw...nothing, no one was visible from how high you were right now, Splendy seemed just as confused that there was nothing eye level with him "ahem...hey gigantor I'm down here" a quiet whisp of a voice spoke, you and Splendy both looked down to see a man in a yellow hood wearing some sort of black and red mask "oh hoody" Splendy said, peering inside and looking around "is he in his office?" He asked to which hoody replied with "Yeah I think so", moving out of the way to let Splendy in "I can trust you for a few minutes right hoody?" Splendy asked "I guess so..." Splendy proceeded to set you down in front of the hooded man "alright this is y/n, I already know hey won't be allowed in the office so watch them for me, be sure there is no killing, injury, or otherwise chaos directed towards them while I'm gone" you looked around somewhat alarmed that he was just going to leave you there with this complete stranger in a building supposedly full of murderers "don't worry y/n this will only take a moment" with that Splendy left the room, leaving you to stare blankly at hoody who stared back seeming just as surprised "um..." You looked around then, this place was like a ghost town, empty and quiet "so how are you?" You questioned "eh" was the only answer you got "great...." You responded before the deafening silence continued
