After a moment of just holding onto eachother you and Splendy turned your attention back to the half-finished puzzle that sat on the table, so far from what you could tell the image was of a basket of kittens though that was difficult to focus on as your gaze trailed back to Splendy's face, carefully tracing each feature, you felt oddly close to the male despite barely knowing him, having just seen his face for the first time, and not even knowing what exactly he was, he was a very close friend at the least, someone you felt you could trust "Splendy?" He hummed and turned towards you, pulling his focus off of the heaps of tiny cardboard pieces and giving you a small smile "what are you?" You asked, trying your best not to come off as rude, you honestly just wanted to know more "oh well I'mmm..." He trailed off as he thought, furrowing his brow "um...well I'm not entirely sure now that I think about it, I'm kinda just me really" he answered, thinking a bit more and humming "yep no idea, I'm not a human that's for sure" he added you nodded, satisfied with that answer "are you wearing bells?" You continued to question as he shifted and you heard the familiar jingle "no, why do you ask?" He tilted his head, seemingly unaware of the sound, you couldn't help but giggle as he even jingled when just tilting his head "no reason" you mumbled "what's up with your mouth? Do you have teeth?" He raised a brow at you "you are just full of questions aren't you" he said with a slight chuckle "yeah...im just curious, never seen anyone like you" you stated honestly "well I have teeth sometimes and my mouth is a void I guess, I'd like to get back to the puzzle, you can ask more questions later" he answered, you nodded in response though his answers only gave you more questions, only teeth sometimes? A void? Could He even eat like that? Did he need to eat? You made a subconscious list of questions to bombard him with later, humming quietly and starting to work on the puzzle again quietly as he got up to restart the vinyl record which had finished playing a long while ago
