I pull up to the police station, I saw Dick's car there so I thought it would be a good idea to tell him while it's still fresh in my mind. I get out of the car and walk into the police station, Dick was already there, I could only assume he was doing an investigation.
"Ah, Edgy boy! What's up?" He asks me.
I'm only ok with Phoenix calling me that, I'll let it slide though.
"Hey, Uh, are you busy at the moment?" I ask.
"Not really, why?"
"I kinda need to talk to you in private, is that ok?"
"Yeah totally! Follow me!" Dick says, leading me to the backroom.
"K, now what do you need to get off your chest?"
"W-well, um, it's a little complicated."
"Cmon, Yknow I got your back, I won't tell anyone."
"W-well, it's about me and Phoenix..."
"What about you two?"
"We're um...in a relationship you could say..."
Dick's eyes widened, "woah seriously?? I'm honestly kind of surprised, you two practically hate each other."
"Well, we're supposed to, but we don't." I reply, chuckling.
"Which will make your job very difficult."
"I'm not gonna lie, I could see you two gettin together."
"Wha-?? Huh-??"
"I know, it's kinda shocking, but you two just had chemistry."
I sigh in relief, "so, you're ok with this right?"
"Are you joking?? Of course I am!"
"Oh thank god, to be honest, I knew you would, I just had a small feeling you wouldn't."
"Don't worry, man, I got your back. Is Phoenix gonna tell anyone?"
"Yeah, Maya or Butz."
"Geez, he better bring duct tape."
"Seriously."
Someone came into the hallway we were in, "Hey, Gumshoe, we need your help badly."
Dick nods, "I'll see ya later, Edgeworth."
I nod, "if you need me for the case, I'm always here to help."
"Thanks, Miles, I appreciate it."
