Henry's Birthday

Emma was home with Henry and Hope, Killian was back at work since the family car accident, Emma recovery was running smoothly and it was August. Henry's birthday was coming up soon and she could not believe that she was going to have a sixteen-year-old in the house very soon. She could not decide what to do for her son's birthday this year. She finds Henry in his room playing with Hope tickling her. "Henry, Hope."
"Hi, Mom. Join us." Emma smiles and sat on the bed. Hope crawls over to her Mommy and sits on her lap. "Hope." Hope grabs her Mommy's hair. "Henry, I want to know what you want to do for your birthday this year?"
"Well, I want to go sailing with you, Hope and Dad. Can we go sailing?"
"As long as I can take it easy. I am still recovering."
"Mom, I just want to be with my family on my birthday."
"Do you want a party here?"
"Yes!"
"We will have a party for you." Hope babbled. "Yes, sweetie. We are going to have a birthday party for Henry like when we did for your birthday." Hope clapped her hands.
"Little sis, are you excited for my birthday?" Hope smiles and crawls to Henry and gives him a hug. "You are still my favorite birthday present." He tickles Hope who laughs loudly, Emma giggles. "You are awesome, little sis." Emma gets a phone call from prison. "Hello...yes...I am on my way."
"Mom, what is it?"
"I have to go to the prison about the case."
"You mean the one who tried to run us over?"
"Yes, Henry. They want me to tell me their statements of their crimes."
"Mom, I can watch Hope."
"Thanks, kid."
"Just make sure the one who tried to kill us gets the punishment that he deserves."
"I will, Henry. You know that. When I am out, think of ideas on what you want for your birthday party."
"I will, Mom. Hope and I are going to play."
"Hope, Mommy has to be sheriff. I know you will have fun with Henry. Listen to your brother." Hope gave her Mommy kisses. "Thank you for the kisses, baby girl." Emma leaves the house. "Hope, it is just you and me, little sis. Do you want to go swimming in your pool?"
"Henwy."
Henry smiles "Of course, little sis, I will swim with you. Now let's go get ready." Henry gets Hope ready. Outside, Emma was sitting in her car, her first time in the car since her accident. Emma was gripping the wheel with her hands shaking, getting flashbacks of the truck coming at her. She hears a knock on the window and zones back to reality, it was Killian. He enters the car. "Killian? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"
"Aye, Henry called me and told me about going to prison for the case. Also, your Dad got a call from the prison first and assigned me to go with you." He looks at his wife's hands, which were shaking and placed his hands on hers and rubs them until they stopped shaking. Emma leans on her husband. "It is okay, love. I am right here. I will drive." He kisses his wife on the head. Emma hugs him. "I am right here, love."
"I am happy that you are here."
"I am on your side, swan." Killian drove his wife to the prison.
"Do you know who are we visiting?"
" Your Dad said we are visiting Zelena and Blackbeard."
"I have been wanting to yell at Zelena ever since I found out she was one of the people who tried to kill our family...I am going to go mama bear mode on her." They went inside, showed their sheriff badges and was sent to the visiting room, Blackbeard was there. "Emma, I am going to be right here." Emma enters the room. "Well, if it isn't the blonde."
"You are a pirate." She sits across from him. "Tell me, why did you try to kill myself and my children?"
"Aye, I hate your husband, he is my mortal enemy. He never gave me his ship."
"The ship belongs to my husband." Emma was mad and pulled Blackbeard's collar of his prison uniform. "Was it your idea to hurt my family? Tell me the truth."
"Aye, I wanted revenge and hurt Killian's loved ones. I helped Zelena, it was all her idea. Zelena was the mastermind in the whole plan. She wanted to hurt you because she wants you to die and be away from your family forever. Aye, just wanted to see the look on your pirate of a husband face to see when his whole family perish." Killian was mad and enters the room. "You bloody hell, tell us about Zelena's plan now..." He places his hook on his enemies neck. "Tell my wife and me about Zelena's plan."
"Alright, alright...Killian, as I told you before, Zelena wants to get revenge on your wife for not being with her daughter. Since she is not with her daughter, she wanted Emma not to be with your kids or all of them dead. She mostly wanted your wife dead so her children will be without her.
"Killian, we are going to talk to Zelena next. He is not lying." The security guard takes Blackbeard back to his isolated cell. "You two lied to me about not putting me into an isolated cell."
"You hurt my daughter and wife. You were part of the scheme of Zelena trying to kill my family. You asshole." He punches him in the face which made Blackbeard fell and security guards had to carry him back to his isolation room. Emma smiles and hugs her Killian."That's my pirate." She kisses him on the cheek. "I told you, love. I will always protect you and our family." He hugs her back."Now we have to go to the women side visiting room. I am going to be mama bear mode on her." They walked together to the women side of the prison holding hand and hook.
Back at the Swan-Jones house, Henry was filling up Hope's swimming pool while Hope was walking around the backyard in a pink swan pattern bathing suit. When the pool was filled up, Henry put pirate theme water toys in it. "Hope, come here little sis." Henry carries his sister to the pool, Hope grabbed the toy pirate ship and plays with it, "Wawa."
"That is right, Hope. That is Daddy's ship." Hope was playing with toys and walking around splashing Henry. Henry was enjoying playing with his little sister and making her happy all at the same time. "Henwy."
"Yes, Hope?" Hope splashes him.
"Hopey." He splashes her back and tickles her.
Emma and Killian went to the women's section of the prison and sees Zelena waiting for them. "Emma, do you want me to go in with you?"
"I can talk to her by myself."
"If you need me, I am going to be right here."
"Thank you." They kiss. Emma enters the room and gets mad seeing the one who caused her family almost their life since she was the one who tried to kill them. "Well...well..well isn't it the savior? Or shall I say that unsavior, which sounds better? Don't you think?"
Emma places her hands on the table and looked directly at the former witch. "Cut the crap, Zelena. I know by Horace and Blackbeard that you were the one who plotted out the whole plan to kill my children and me."
"That is right, "savior." I planned the whole accident, I was the one who told Horace to drunk drive your damn little yellow bug to run you over so you can die and be away from your children forever just like I am away from Rowand."
"Regina and Robin gave you options to have visiting rights to Rowand but you hurt my family which made you dangerous to your daughter, Zelena."
"I would never hurt my daughter!!"
"You have a bad way of showing it when you kidnap her and used her magic to hurt my family, that is not a parent Zelena. You do not use your children or their magic for your needs. That is not a parent Zelena. Especially when you plan to kill people, that is not right for Rowand to know."
"How do you know what a parent is, savior, you never had yours." Emma was madder.
"I am a parent, Zelena. I am a mother who tucks their children in bed at night, comforts them when they are sick or hurt and protects them when they need it. I provide my children with a roof over their head in a safe home where no one hurts them and care for them endlessly. I do not hurt them use them for any evils deals and kidnap them and put them in danger, Zelena which a parent does not do, harm them and put them in danger. You are never going to get out prison Zelena, after all, you have done not even parole. You are going to be here for the rest of your life."
"Why you get your happy ending and not me!!"
"All you think about is yourself Zelena!! You do not think of others!! You plotted out to kill me and my children, which is crazy!! You do not think about the consequences!! You are going to be in your own psych-ward in prison with guards around you and not ever letting you out and never see the light of day!!"
"Emma, I need to see my daughter."
"You lost your rights, Regina and Robin have full custody of your daughter. She is with her father who takes care of her even though you raped him to get revenge on your sister and pretend to be his wife which you killed back in time. That is just messed up. They are giving the life that she needs not with you."
"You are a mother Emma, you must understand."
"You just told me I am not a mother, Zelena. A mother never put her child in danger or in your case using your daughter's magic to hurt others. A mother never kidnaps another child for revenge and threaten to hurt the child for revenge."
"All I did that was to see my daughter again and get revenge on you for getting my rights taken away..."
"This is not my fault, this is all you did. Trying to kill another person, Zelena which only makes your case worse, for anyone to trust you even your own daughter. She is going to know all of the evil schemes and battles you have done in your past. All adopted children want to know their past and when she finds out she is going to decide if she ever wants to see you."
Zelena was furious. "I will get you for this savior.." She tried to move her hands but they were all chained up. "All of the crimes that you have done Zelena you are never going to get a trial date because you are going to be sentenced to life in prison." Emma leaves the room, drained and hearing Zelena screaming, "I HATE YOU EMMA!!" Killian saw the look on his wife's faces and hugs her. "Emma, let's go home, swan." He walks with his wife who was tired of yelling with Zelena and Blackbeard. He drove his wife home. "Love, do you need something to eat?"
"No..." He hugs his wife.
"I heard everything what you and Zelena said to each other, love. You were right, love as always."
"I was in mama bear mode."
"Of course, love. You were protecting our family love. She was trying to kill you and our family, you were in mama bear mode for the right reason."
"I was and I will always use mama bear mode when my children are threatening especially by a crazy witch who is out to get myself and our family."
"I will always be on your side during mama bear mode." Emma hugs her husband.
"Zelena thinks about herself and she is not a mother."
"I know love. She only thinks about herself. You told her what a real mother does, and you do it all love."
"I do not want our children to experience any of what I experienced in the foster system."
"We have a white picket fence life, swan. We own our house, we have food on the table, we care and love Henry and Hope. We are raising Henry and Hope, to be honest with good-hearted people. We never hurt them or put them in danger, love. You are a great Mommy to them, love."
"We are both great parents. I just wanted to make sure we are putting the ones in prison for the rest of their lives so our family can live here safe."
"Emma, Zelena, and Blackbeard are never going to see the light of day ever again. They are going to be trapped in own foamy box with no connection of society ever again. What I saw you fighting with the both of them is a survivor and my wife the mother of my children protecting."
Emma smiles, Killian always knows how to make her feel better and safe. "I want to see our children."
Killian smiles seeing his wife feel better. "Let's go inside, love." They head inside hearing Hope crying. Henry carried Hope to their Mom. "Mom, good that you are back. Hope has been crying for a while now. I cannot calm her down. Hope is upset." Hope reaches out to her Mommy.
"Hopey." She gets her daughter from her son and comforts her daughter. "Mommy is home."
"Mom, Hope and I were playing in the pool in the backyard and I pushed her on the swings. After I get her a bubble bath, she has been non-stop crying."
"Henry, I know Hope had fun with you. Maybe she is teething. Hope, are you getting another tooth?" Hope hugged her Mommy and whimpered.
"Also, she has not napped today."
"Maybe she is cranky and in pain. Hope, Mommy needs a nap you can nap with me, baby."
"Mom, are you okay?"
"Yes, I am just happy to be home. The case...it is too stressful. Let's just say I yelled at Blackbeard and the former green witch about parenting. They are not going to get out of prison, Henry." Henry hugs his Mom. "I know you scared them both, Mom."
"Yes, I did, Henry."
"Love, do you need cinnamon hot cocoa?"
"Yes." Killian went to make cinnamon hot cocoa.
"Mom, I have a feeling Hope wants story and snuggle with you."
"Hope, you want to snuggle with Mommy while Henry read you a story?" She kisses Hope on the cheek. "Mommy."
"Mommy is right here, little sis. Don't cry."
Emma smiles seeing Henry being a caring brother to sister."How about you, Hope and I relax in my room because work really tired me out."
"Sure, I will get my book and meet in your room." Henry goes upstairs.
Killian carried the "Little love, why are you crying?" He rubbed Hope's cheek. "Are you tired from having fun with your brother?" He gave Hope kisses on her cheek. Hope began to cry again.
"Hopey, we are going to have a nap and snuggle time together." Emma brings Hope upstairs to her room and sat on her bed. "Hopey, we are snuggling baby girl." Hope was still crying.
"Swan, do you want me to get her a teething ring?"
"Yes, we can if that can help." Killian goes downstairs. "Hopey, you are not feeling well?" She gave Hope kisses and rubs her back, who was awake and very unhappy. "Mommy."
"I am right here, baby girl. I am not going anywhere. I am staying with you."
"Mommy..tay..."
"You missed Mommy when I was out being sheriff?" Hope hugs her Mommy. "I am right here, Hope."
Henry enters the room. "Hope, Henry is here. Do you want to read a story?" Hope fusses.
"You can read to Hope later." Henry gave his sister a kiss and leaves the room. Killian returned to his room.
"Emma, I found a cold pacifier for Hope." He sits next to his wife and daughter and gives Hope her pacifier. "Is that making your mouth hurt less?" Hope stopped crying. "Dada helped your pain, little love?" He gave her kisses which made her smile. "There is my favorite little smile. Are you happy that Mommy and Dada are home?" Hope gripped her Mommy. "Swan, do you need anything else?"
"I think we are good. Hope just needed a cold paci and snuggles with me. She missed her Mommy." Henry returns with Hope's Pluto dolls and her Barney doll. "Hopey, look..."
"Little sis, I have your favorite toys." Hope fusses.
"Henry, you can leave them on the bead, I know she will play with them later." Hope moves around and her Mommy put her on her chest. "Comfortable?" Hope hugged her Mommy around her neck. "Be gentle, little princess."
"Love, I will get dinner started. Are you okay?"
"Yes, I am just tired..." Henry hugs his Mom.
"Dad, I will stay here with Mom and Hope."
"Thanks, lad." Killian goes downstairs. "Mom, is Hope alright?"
"I think she is just teething, kid. She is in a lot of pain. The cold paci your Dad gave her is helping her."
Henry looks at his awake sister. "Hope, I am right here, little sis. I had so much fun with you today in our backyard. You love splashing me a lot." Emma smiles. "Did you have fun when I pushed you on the swings and went down the slide together?"Hope reached out to her brother and he let her hold his hand. "I love you, Hope. You are the best little sis, ever." He gave her kisses on her hand. "Hope is Henry giving you kisses on your hand?"
"She likes it, Mom."
"You are helping me making her feel better."
"Mom, she wanted you when you were working. She had fun with me..."Hope was squeezing Henry's hand. "Yes, little sis. We need to have more playtime together. Want to do art together next?" Hope babbled.
"Kid, that is a yes from your sister."
"Mom, Hope gave me an idea of what to do on my birthday before my birthday party."
Hope began to cry. "Hopey.' She stands up to comfort Hope. "What is the matter?" She checks her diaper, "Henry when was the last time you changed her diaper?"
"A few hours ago."
"Hopey, is your tummy hurting you?"
"Mom is she in pain her mouth or her tummy?"
"I do not know." Killian enters the room. "Emma, what is wrong with Hope?"
"I do not know if it is her teething or her tummy ache?"
"Dad, I changed her a few hours ago."
"Lad, can you bring up some fruits and her bottle of water?" Henry goes downstairs. "Emma, we are going to figure out what is going on with Hope." He looks down at his daughter, "Hope, we are going to make you feel better soon, little love." He kisses Hope on the head and she grabs his hook. "Dada is here, little love." Hope stopped crying and held onto her Daddy's hook. Henry brings up soft fruits and her water bottle. Henry spoonfed Hope her fruit salad as she sat on their Mommy's lap and holding onto their Dad's hook. "Hope likes the fruit, Mom."
"She is eating, she must have been hungry all this time. I told you, Killian, Hope is going to end up like you not a picky eater like me."
"Mommy."
"Yes, Baby girl. Are you feeling better?" Hope hugs her Mommy. "You just want to be with Mommy?" Hope pukes on her Mommy and began to cry. "Hope, you are not in trouble, sweetie. Don't cry. We know you are not feeling well. Killian, I think Hope might have a stomach virus."
"Aye, I think you are right. Love, I will change Hope."
"Thanks, Hope, after Daddy changes your outfit we can snuggle." She gave Hope kisses. Kilian takes Hope to her room. "Mom, I will do the laundry."
"Thanks, kid." Emma changes into a clean outfit. "Henry?"
"Yes, Mom?" She hugs her son. "Thank you."
"For what?"
"For being an amazing big brother to your sister and taking care of Hope when your Dad and I were out working.."
"I love to help, Mom. I love being Hope's big brother. She trusts me. I do not like it when Hope is not feeling well."
"I know next week when Hope is not sick you two are going to play a lot together."
"I have an idea what to do on an art project with you and Hope."
"I know, whatever you are planning, we are going to have fun." Henry does the laundry as Killian and Emma tend to Hope, they cuddle with Hope and make sure she has enough fluids and watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Barney. Hope was fast asleep on her Mommy. Killian wrapped his arm around his two loves. "I told you, love that you are an amazing Mommy to Henry and Hope. Right, Hope? You have the best Mommy in all the realms."
"Mommy." They both smile at each other and continue to tend to Hope until she got better.
A week later, Emma and Killian were busy preparing for Henry's birthday. They cleaned the house and cooked for the party. They did not have to cook too much since Allison and Regina were also bringing food for the party. The night before Henry's birthday, Killian came home from the party store with the decorations and finds his wife baking cupcakes and birthday cake for their son with Hope walking around the kitchen. Hope tugs her Daddy's pants. He puts Hope on his hip. "Hi, little love. Are you keeping Mommy company while Mommy is baking?" Hope babbled. "Hi, love. How is baking?"
"It is going well. Do you want to try a cupcake? They are fresh out of the oven."
"With frosting?"
"Not yet. I have to frost them." Killian kept a close eye on his wife making sure she was not tired.
"Love, I can frost them."
"You can help me frost them." He lets Hope walk around the kitchen. Killian frosted red and blue cupcake frosting. Hope walked to her Mommy. "Mommy."
"Baby girl." She puts Hope on her lap and kisses her on the head. Hope reaches out for the frosting. "Little love, we need the frosting to decorate the cupcakes."
"Killian, I did promise her that she can have a cupcake. Which one Hope, blue or red cupcake?" Hope grabbed the red one. Hope babbled. "Swan, Hope likes the color red like her Mommy." Emma chuckles, "That is right." She helped Hope opened the cupcake holder and Hope touched the frosting and ate her cupcake.
"Is the red frosting yummy?" Hope smiled. Killian took pictures of Hope smiling with her mouth covered with red frosting. "Swan...smile." Killian's two lasses smile for Killian's iPhone. Henry returns home, "Mom, are those for my birthday party?"
"Yes, kid. Want to try one?"
"Yes!" He takes a blue one. "I can see Hope tried one. Is it yummy little sis?"
"Henwy!" Henry takes Hope from their Mom. "Hopey, I got new books from the library do you want to read them to you?"
"Mommy."
"Mom, you want to join us?"
"Love, I can clean up here."
"Henry, I will join you and Hope." Henry brings Hope up to their room. "Come get me when the cake is done so I can frost it."
"Aye, I will love." They kiss. Emma finds Hope and Henry in her bed. "I thought I find you two in here."
"Mom there is enough room in here for all of us." Emma joined Henry and Hope on her bed. Hope walked to her Mommy and sat on her lap. Henry hands him, Mom, a book, "I borrowed this book. I want you to read it to us." She looks at the book," The Ugly Duckling." This is the story she read to herself as a child, she still has the pages in the box possessions of her childhood and the story that Henry thought of her life was based on. "Henry...The Ugly Duckling? This is my favorite book"
"Yes, I figure Hope needs to know what story our Mom's life is based on. Also why her nickname is duckling. Hope will understand why this is your favorite book." She hugs her son and kisses him on the head, "You are the best, kid."
"I know." Hope babbled.
Emma smiles."Hope, it is story time. Once upon a time, there was a Mommy duck and Daddy duck going to have baby ducklings very soon..." Emma continued to read the book until the very end. "The ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan and made new friends. The end. This book was my favorite book growing up and I chose my last name to be swan and swan is now my nickname for your Daddy to call me." Hope pats the book. "You want me to read it again?" Hope babbled. "Okay, I will read it again." Hope clapped her hands.
"Yes, Hope, yay for Mommy reading to us." He clapped Hope's hand which made their Mom smile. "Mom, I think this is one of her favorite stories besides your story."
"Maybe you are right, Henry. I have a feeling you and I are going to read this book to her a lot."
"Mommy."
"Yes, you are right, Mom."
Emma chuckles."Hope, I am going to read it to you again, my little duckling." She tickles Hope to make her laugh and read the story until Hope fell asleep. She put Hope to sleep in her bed next to Henry, "Mom, I will watch Hope."
"Thanks, kid." She kisses them on the heads and saw Killian.
"I see our little duckling has a new favorite story."
Emma smiles at her husband."How long have you been watching captain?"
"Oh since the third time you read to Hope and the next three times after that."
Emma giggles. "Our Hope loves me reading to her."
"I am not surprised, swan." They kiss and go downstairs and decorate the house for Henry's birthday with streamers, happy birthday sign and balloons and wrap Henry's presents before going to bed. They go to their bedroom, seeing Hope sleeping with Henry on their bed. Emma hugs her husband. "We are going to have a sixteen-year-old in the house tomorrow."
"Aye, yes we are love. He has you his amazing Mommy raising him to a kind caring and a brave lad who loves his family and protecting his family."
" I do have you to help raise him, captain."
"He is my son. You taught him how to be brave, strong and caring."
"Yes, he is ours." They kiss and get ready for bed. Henry wakes up. "Mom?"
"Hey. Did we wake you up?" Henry hugs his Mom.
"Hope has been sleeping every since you finished reading The Ugly Duckling. I was just waiting for you to come to bed so I can sleep in my room."
Emma smiles. "Good book choice, kid." She hugs him. "I will see you in the morning." Henry goes to sleep in his room. Emma goes to bed with Killian who gives her Hope. He wrapped his arm around his swan. "Are you okay love?"
"Every time, Henry's birthday comes along it is always the saddest day for me. I never held him...after all the pain of being in labor and delivery and being chained up to the bed and all alone with strangers....and the only thing that loves me was Henry and I knew giving him up for adoption was the best chance for him... I was alone and looked away knowing if I saw him, I would have kept him. Even when he found me ten years later needing my help, I knew that he loved me..." Emma was in tears now, "He is with me now..."
"Henry is being raised by you, my Emma. He is a strong caring wonderful young man who loves protecting his family. He loves living with us and Hope and you are giving him a normal life, with two parents and little sister which he adores. I know whatever he wants to do before his party, he is going to have fun with you and Hope."
"You are right, I am giving everything to Henry and Hope." She kisses Hope on the head. "Hope, we are going to give Henry a great birthday tomorrow."
"What is his plan before his birthday party tomorrow?"
"You will see what we are up to tomorrow." She gives Killian a wink.
"Aye, I have a feeling whatever it is...it is going to be messy." Emma giggles.
The next morning, a few hours later, Emma wakes up with Hope sleeping on her, which she loves. Killian knew Emma was awake. "Morning, love."
"Morning, captain." They kiss. Killian takes sleeping Hope from his wife. "I will be next door." Emma goes to her son's room and watches him sleep, she cannot believe that she has a sixteen-year-old son now, she ran away from the foster system at his age. She is just so happy that he is not in the system like she was and living a normal life with her as his mom. She gets into bed with Henry and hugs him. "Happen birthday Henry. You will always be my firstborn baby. I love you so much." She gave Henry kisses and lays with him. A little while later, Killian gets woken up by Hope who was patting his face and babbling. "Good morning, little love. Today is Henry's birthday today. Are you going to make Henry happy?" Hope screamed. "I will take that as a yes." Hope crawls off her Daddy and tries to get off from the bed. "Hope, you want to wake up the birthday boy?"He sets Hope down and helps her walk to Henry's room. "Hope, Henry is still sleeping little love."
"Mommy."
"Hi, baby girl." Killian puts Hope on his wife's lap. "Hope, Henry is still sleeping." Hope pats Henry's face, "Henwy!" Emma could not help but chuckle. Henry wakes up. Hope gave him a big hug. "Hope, did you want to wish me a happy birthday first?" Hope screams. "I will take that as a yes." Hope babbles more to Henry. "Hope, are you going to play with me today?" Hope nods her head and hugs her brother. "Henwy." Killian was taking pictures of Henry and Hope's pictures of Hope hugging Henry. "I have the best little sis, ever." Hope babbled. Killian takes of Hope from Henry. Ema hugs her son, "Happy birthday Henry."
"Thanks, Mom."
"You will always be my baby boy."
"Ae Mom."
"You found me when you were ten now you are sixteen..." Emma was in tears.
"Mom, do not cry. I am still your baby boy. Yes, I found you but you made a home with Dad. I love living here. You are the Mom that gave me a normal life, which I love."
"I will always do my best for my children." Hope crawls to her Mommy and Henry and joins their hug.
"Mom, Hope wants to join our hug." Emma smiles as Henry let his sister join their hug.
"Henry, there are some presents downstairs for a birthday boy to open."
"Yes!" Henry rushes downstairs with Hope, Emma chuckles and Killian gives his wife a hug. "Henry is happy love."
"I know." She hugs him back and they go find their children in the living room. "Hope, which one should I open first?" Hope babbled and pats a box. "I will start with that one." Henry gets the gift wrapped box. Hope began to cry. Killian gets Hope from the carpet, "Little love, it is Henry's birthday, these are his gifts."
"Hope, you can help me open them?" Henry puts Hope in his lap, and let her help open his presents. "Mommy." Emma takes Hope from her son. "Hope, we have to let Henry open his presents, sweetie. It is his special day." Henry opened his present, the first one was more of his favorite comic book heros pop figures. "Mom, you got me more for my collection."
"That is right, Henry."
Henry opened more gifts, more Harry Potter pop figures, Harry Potter t-shirts, and Batman: Hush on Bluray/ DVD. "Mom, you got me Batman Hush on DVD?"
"Yes, I did. Since you like the movie so much when we watched it on Itunes a few weeks ago." Henry hugs his Mom. "Thank you, Mom."
"You are welcome, Henry. You have one more gift from me." Killian records his iPhone of Henry opening his last gift from his mom, New York Comic Con tickets. "Mom, We are going again!!:
"Yes, we are Henry!!"
"Yes!!" Henry jumped for joy. "We are going to New York Comic Con!" Hope was clapping her hands. "Love, I recorded his reaction."
"Great."
"If Hope needs to be out of the convention, I can take Hope around the city while you and Henry enjoy the convention. You two are the ones watching superhero movies and reading comic books."
"Thank you, I know that Hope would love to have one on one time with her Daddy. We can see how Hope is during the conventions."
"Lad, you have one more gift from me." Henry opens his gift, a small telescope just like his Dad. "Dad, this looks like yours."
"I found a spyglass like mine, son. I figure you can use it during our sailing lesson." Henry hugs his Dad, "I love it, Dad. thank you."
"You are welcome, son." Hope babbled.
"You are right, baby girl. You have a gift for Henry." She hands her daughter a wrapped gift, "Give it to Henry, Hope." Hope gives Henry her gift to him. Henry opens the gift, a batman shirt. "Hope, I love it. Thank you, Hope." Hope smiled. "Can I have a hug?" Hope tackles her brother. "You and your strong hugs, Hope." Emma chuckles as Killian wrapped his arm around his wife.
"Mom, can we do our art project soon?"
"We can do art in the backyard after we eat breakfast." Killian cooked breakfast for his family after breakfast, Emma changed Hope into diaper and she changed into old clothes, and Henry changed into a bathing suit. They go outside and prepped for their art project. Emma sets up the large blanket canvas as Henry set up the paints. 'Hope, are you ready to get messy?" Hope screamed. "Me too, little sis." Henry opened the paint squirted some onto Hope's bare belly,which made Hope laugh.
"Henry and Hope, the paint goes on the canvas first."
"Let's go to Mommy little sis." Henry walks with Hope to their Mom. "Hope, we have to put the paint on the canvas." He teaches his sister by putting blue paint on his hand and spreads it on the canvas. "Now you can try." Hope sat down and Henry placed paint onto Hope's hands and she spread the paint onto the canvas and smiles. "Good, job, little sis. You take after me." Emma smiles. "Hope, you like getting paint on your elf?" hope placed her hand onto her Mommy's cheek and smiles, "Thank you, baby." Emma and Henry painted the canvas by splatter painting while Hope walked around the canvas leaving her footprints and getting splattered painted on. "Mom, Hope is not crying."
"She is having fun Henry, getting messy." Hope tackles her Mom with a hug. "Hopey, you are getting me messier!" Hope babbled. Killian was taking pictures and videos of his family getting covered with paint after he got towels for the aftermath of paint. When the paint bottle was lessening, Emma gave Hope red paint, "Hope, you squeeze it on me." Hope squeezes the paint as hard as she can. "Hope, let me help you, little sis?" He squeezes the bottle with Hope, the paint landed onto her Mom. "Hope, you got me baby girl." Hope smiled. Emma squeezed some yellow and pink paint onto Hope. "Hope, we need to get more paint on Mommy." Henry gave Hope orange paint and he had the purple paint container. "Hope, get Mommy."
"Oh no." Henry and Hope chased their Mom around the back yard. Killian gets Hope. "Hope, you can squeeze the paint and I will carry you around." Hope babbled. Emma squirted painted onto Henry, Hope and Killian got painted onto Emma. "Mommy.
"Hope, you got Daddy to join us?" Hope and Killian squirted paint on Emma. Henry squirted paint onto his Dd. "Dad, one rule not the face." Hope placed her rainbow covered hand onto her Daddy's face. "Hope..." They all laughed and continued to splatter paint each other until the paint ran out. They took pictures with a timer on Killian's iPhone and took the whole family covered in paint. Killian and Emma cuddle on the grass and watch Henry chasing Hope around the backyard. "Love, henry looks like he is having so much fun o n his birthday."
"Emma smiles. "Yes, Henry is enjoying getting messy. I did not expect you to join us, captain."
"I did not want to miss all the fun. Our little lass needed my help to get you and Henry painted." Emma chuckles. "I love you, Killian."
"I love you, Emma." Henry and Hope snuck behind them and squirted their parents with more paint. "Henry and Hope." Henry pointed at Hope. "It is time to get the paint off. "
"No." Hope began to cry.
Emma scoops Hope into her arms. "Hopey, I know you, Henry Daddy and Mommy were having so much fun getting all the paint covered on us but we have to clean up. All of Henry's guests will be here soon to celebrate Henry's birthday. How about you can play in your pool before the guests arrive." Killian filled Hope's pool to get the paint off of his lass. Henry played with his sister. "Are you having fun with me today?" Hope screamed. "We can do more art soon, little sis. When I have my art class in school you can join my art class. I know we can do more art for our one on one time." Hope hugs her brother. "Kid, you need to get cleaned off too." Killian sprayed the water hose water to Henry. "Dad."
"Lad, you are covered." Emma chuckles.
"Dad, I wall to take a shower upstairs." Emma and Killian cleaned up the splatter paint after they rinsed themselves off with the water hose.
"I guess, we have Henry's party inside. The backyard is covered with paint."
"Aye, that is right." Hope walks to her Daddy and reaches her arms up and Killian gets Hope into his arms. 'Hope, are you having fun today with Henry Mommy and Daddy?" Hope babbled and hugs her Daddy. "I think Hope is happy that her Daddy joined us getting covered with paint." Killian smiles. "I love having fun with my family." They kiss. They go inside and got ready for the party after they took showers. Emma and Hope had a bubble bath together, while Killian took a shower after Henry was finished. Henry found Hope in their parents' room as their Mom was getting ready. "Hope, I got you something, little sis." He shows Hope the shirt which was a picture of cat woman from Batman:Hush and says, "My Mommy is Catwoman." Hope screamed and grabs it. Emma puts Hope into her new shirt. "Henry, you got Hope a Catwoman shirt?"
"Yes, Mom. I figure Hope needed a little gift on my birthday. I did not want Hope to be jealous and it does with my new Batman shirt. I know how much you love matching Hope and me."
"It fits her perfectly Henry." Henry holds his sister while their Mom took pictures of them matching. "Hope, say thank you to Henry for your new shirt." Hope gave Henry kisses. "Hopey, you are the best sister ever. I love you." Hope babbled. "Mom, it is crazy Hope and I got each other shirts from the same movie."
"I know, you two have that special brother and sister connection." Hope began to cry.
"Hope, it is time for your nap baby girl." Emma takes Hope into her room and rocks her to sleep. "Hope, you are making Henry very happy on his special day." Emma plced Hope into her crib when she fell asleep. Henry was downstairs when Regina arrived. "Happy birthday Henry!"

"Why are you covered in pain?"
"We had a splatter paint art project in the backyard. It was awesome." Emma arrives downstairs, "Emma, was the splatter paint project was your idea?"
"Not my idea, it was Henry's. It is his birthday and he wanted to do paint project." Emma hugs her son. "Mom, even Dad joined us." Regina chuckles, "The pirate joined the paint."
"Aye, yes I did."
"Oh, Henry I brought you your gifts."
"I can open them now." Henry and Regina had one on one time in the living room as Emma and Killian set up the food for the party. Allison and her family arrived an hour later, Ted and Connor carried the trays of food, while Lizzie runs to Henry. "Happy birthday Henry!" Lizzie jumps onto his lap and gave him a big hug. "I know you are sorry, sweetie." Lizzie hugs Emma. Emma hears Hope awake on the baby monitor. "Lizzie, Hope is awake. Do you want to come with me to get Hope?"
"Hope! " Emma carries Lizzie to Hope's room. They see Hope awake. "Hope, I am here. Don't cry." Lizzie gave Ha ope kiss on her cheek. Emma smiles and takes Hope from her crib and feels her diaper and changes her into a clean one. "Hope, Henry's guests are here."

Emma and I had seen much worse, a lecture is better than anything that we experienced in both of our childhoods, parenting isn't easy to discipline as in a lecture is better than abuse. I have a feeling that Emma is making her feel better." Emma returns into the kitchen with Hope rushing to Killian. "Hello, little love. Did you have a good nap?" Hope hugs her Daddy.
"Emma, how is Lizzie?"
"She is afraid that you will be mad at her for a very long time."
"Lizzie takes after me taking words personally and very sensitive. I know what I had to do was right being strict with her."
"Allison, Killian and I literally gave Hope her first parent lecture a few weeks ago when she smeared her poop onto Henry's bed. I had to talk to her in a serious tone for a while but we told her calmly what was wrong and what was right."

In the living room, Henry and Connor talking about comic superheroes while Lizzie was showing Regina her sticker book. Hope was walking around playing with the toys when the two moms return. "I assumed Henry invited her without telling me. As soon as she comes into the room Hope goes over protecting mode not letting Henry be around Violet..." Emma gut feeling was right, which showed on her face. "Regina, something is not right with Violet. I just have this gut feeling something is wrong as soon as I saw her, and Killian too know something is up with Violet. Can you distract Violet? So I can get the kids out of here."

"Ask her about the horses and her Dad's job."
"Got it, take the rest of the kids into the backyard." Allison comes up to them.

Regina used her magic to make a potion to see if Violet had her heart. She uses her magic to make Violet sleep and used her dark magic to see what was going on with Violet. "Emma, Killian this is dark magic...someone took her heart out and try to hurt Henry or anyone of you."
"Regina...I will be right back." Emma rushes to the basement and gets her dreamcatcher. Emma returns, seeing her son. "Henry."
"Mom, what is going on? Hope is with Aunt Allison."
"Your other Mom and I think someone is controlling Violet's heart so she can hurt us..."

Regina approaches them, "Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Hope is a mini-you. Will the dreamcatcher work?"

Emma moves the dreamcatcher around used it on Violet's mind about what happened the last twelve hours, Killian, Henry, Regina and Charming crowded around Emma to see what is going on...Violet went to ride Pumpkin after she was knocked on the head and passes out...she wakes up in the prison...Medusa and Zelena were working together and another witch...someone gave Zelena the spellbook even though she doesn't have magic she can still take out Violet's heart and control her...Violet crying "I do not want to do this...Henry and his family are my friends..."
"You do as we say...There are many witches in here, I may not have my powers but others do have their to use on you which is why they have your heart...." Someone knocks out Violet...she wakes up... back in the woods and heading to their house. They were all stunned. "So Violet was kidnapped and used by witches lead by Zelena to hurt us for revenge?"
"Henry, you are right. Oh my gosh. Regina, we have to find her heart."
"Emma, I know who can help us, your Mom she is the best tracker."
"Okay, find her heart and bring it here."
"Yes, I am going to call Sir Morgan first to tell him that Violet is here."
"Love, what about Violet's body?"
"Captain eyeliner,I am putting a temporarily sleeping curse on her so she doesn't harm any of your family. I recognized the witch, Charming, the witch who is working with my sister she is the blind witch's sister."

"When you get there, separate all of the witches who we saw on the dreamcatcher first and find the heart."

"Yes, she is Violet but some witch who we saw in the dreamcatcher which I used light magic on that someone kidnapped Violet, snuck her into prison took her heart and use it to control her so she can hurt Henry and the rest of my family. We know something was off with her because Henry did not invite her."
Allison was stunned. "Whoa...how did one-year-old Hope figured that out? "
"I do not know, she has a sense of evil, like with Rowand. Maybe that is her power besides light magic."
"What is going on now?"
"My Dad and Killian are finding Violet's heart." Henry carries his sister to their Mom. "Hopey, you saved the day baby girl."Henry gives Hope to their Mom, "Hopey you are the hero on Henry's birthday!" She spun around with her daughter and lifts her up and down. "You have no idea how you helped us today. You are the little savior!" Hope babbled. "Mommy." She hugs her daughter. "No one is hurt Hope. You told us that Violet wasn't Violet. Somehow you knew something was not right. You did a good job, Hopey. I am so proud of you." Hope smiles as Emma gave her kisses. "Mom, do you think sensing evil is Hope's superpower like you can tell when people are lying?"
"That can be possible, Henry. She knows about Rowand." Hope began to cry. "Hope, she does not here baby girl. You know she is evil in here because of Zelena." Hope cried more.

He can hear his son in law yelling at the witch, "Answer me you old hag!! If not you are going to get the same isolation punishment as Zelena, being hanged by her toes surrounded endless flames."
"Alright, Zelena wants to hurt your family. She is so bossy. She is a former witch."

"I still have my spell book...I used to use mind control on a security guard to kidnap Violet and smuggle her in the prison. I used my magic to tear the young girl's heart out and Zelena told Violet what to do and hits Violet when she protested."

The security guards take her back to her new cell faraway from Zelena. Killian rushes to Zelena's cell, Charming was trying to knocking the door down. "Charming, I got it." He hands him the evidence bag. "She is not ever going to use magic again. I told her my plan on Zelena's punishment." Killian knocks down the door and grabs Zelena knocks her out. Charming got Violet's heart.
"Killian, I got Viole'ts heart. Return it to Violet. I will make sure Zelena and the witches get new cells and punishment, mostly Zelena." Killian rushes back home, Regina was still with Violet guarding her body with Sir Morgan. "Killian, do you know who did this to my daughter?"
"Aye, I do. I need to get my wife so I can tell you all what happened." He rushes outside, seeing Henry holding his sleeping sister on the hammock while Emma and Allison were talking. "Killian."
Emma rushes to hug her husband. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"
"Emma, I am not hurt."
Emma hugs her Killian. "Are you sure?"
"Yes, love. I am alright."
"I am just happy that you are home."
"Of course, love. It is our son's birthday. I would not miss his birthday, I was fighting for him in prison. No one hurts our family."
"You got that right, captain." They kiss. Henry carries sleeping Hope to them. "Aye, the birthday boy, how are you?"
"I am alright considering Zelena tried to use Violet against me other than that Hope is a hero."
"Aye a very tired out little hero."
"She takes after you and Mom. How is the case?"
"I will tell you inside with Regina and Sir Morgan." Ted watched his kids while everyone else went inside. "I interviewed the blind witch, she told me she received messages from Zelena about her plan. She used her magic on one of the security guards, mind control to kidnap Violet and smuggle her into the prison and to take her heart out."
"How did you convince her to tell you?"
"It was easy, swan. I told her if she did not tell me the truth I told her Zelena's punishment which is being in a room hung by her toes surrounded by endless amounts of flames."
"Hook, did the blind witch sister told you the truth?"
"Aye, yes your majesty. She told us that your crazy evil sister of yours had her heart. So Charming and I barged into her cell, I knocked her out and got her heart. Charming and the rest of the group are making sure all the witches have new cells and the crocodile is helping with Zelena."
"My other grandpa is helping us?"
"Aye, I made a visit to his shop. He knew it was your birthday and wanted to help. He hates Zelena as much as we do, lad. Also, he gave me a gift for you." He hands his son his gift. "Dad, I can open it later. Our little hero doesn't want to leave my side."
Killian smiles. "She is protecting her big brother."
"I have the best little sis, ever. Who needs a change."
"Can someone please give my daughter her heart back?"
"Henry, I will change your sister." Allison takes Hope up to her room. Killian gives Regina Violet's heart. Emma was hugging her son who was worried for his friend. Allison brought Hope back in time to witness the magic. Regina stopped the temporary sleeping curse on Violet and puts Violet's heart back to her chest. A few minutes later, Violet woke up seeing her Dad, Henry, Emma and Killian all surrounding her. "Where am I? Henry, I was not in control of whatever I did. I do not remember."
"I know. We all know what happened. Hope told us you were being used and we used magic to figure out how it happened. My Dad and Gramps were on the case."
"Really all because of Hope?"
"Yes, Hope can sense evil." Hope babbled loudly and Allison hands over Hope to Henry. "Hope, Violet is awake and has her heart back in her chest. All because of you telling us that Violet did not have her heart."
"Thank you, Hope, for saving me." "ope babbles and hugs her brother. "You take after your brother. Henry, I did not want to hurt you...I was planning to come over to surprise you with your gift."
"So, the gift is real for Henry? Violet."
"Yes, Emma. I was planning to drop by after I rode Pumpkin then I got kidnapped."
"Violet, we know what happened."
"Father." Violet hugs her Dad.
"See, Hope. You are a hero just like Mommy, Daddy and me." Hope hugs her brother.
"Kid, do you want to have your cake?"
"Yes, Mom after dinner. Violet and Sir Morgan would you like to stay for cake?"
"Yes, Henry."
"Violet, I can examine you to see if you are alright. I do not know magic."
Violet smiles. "Allison I would feel more relieved to know that I am healthy."
"That's my job." She gets her medical bag from the car.
"I know you all took good care of me when I was being controlled by those witches."
"I did, Violet."
"You did Regina?"
"Yes, I preserved your body in a sleeping curse so you won't hurt Henry and his family until Killian found your heart."
"Thank you, Regina."
"You are welcome, Violet." Violet hugs Regina.
"Henry, you are so lucky to have two mom who loves you and protect you."
"I know, I have the best two moms in the world, and the best Dad and the best little sis who saved the day." Hope babbled. "Yes, Hope. I know you want cake." Allison examines Violet while everyone else is eating dinner. Allison gave Violet the okay to have cake.They all gather in the kitchen for cake, Emma lit up sixteen candles and carried the cake to Henry who was sitting with Hope on his lap. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Henry with Emma and Killian stood next to him and "Make a wish, kid." Henry thought about it and he blew out the candles, with Hope clapping her hands and saying "Henwy." Allison recorded on her iPhone everything and took pictures of the Swan-Jones family, Regina with Henry, Violet, Hope was crying not trusting Violet with her brother. Killian had to take Hope out of the room telling her that Violet is herself. Henry also took pictures with Emma and with Allison and with her family separate. "Dad, you can bring Hope back in now. I am finished taking pictures." Allison cuts up the cake and Violet help serve to everyone.
"Hope is very overprotective of her big brother, I wonder who she gets that from?" He looks at his wife. "Hope takes up a lot from me. She wants to make sure Henry is not hurt and safe." Hope was still crying. 'Hope, you are just being a little hero today like Mommy and Daddy?" Hope hugs her Mommy. "Hope, you want cake?" Hope screamed. "Here, sweetie. Mommy made it." Everyone had cake, Emma made sure Hope ate and stayed happy she knows her baby girl does not trust Violet. Besides cake they had dinner too since they were all busy during the very unexpected case happened in the house. Ted and Allison helped cleaned up after cake, Regina spent time with Henry before she packed up the leftovers with Allison after Violet and Sir Morgan left. Emma finds Henry on the hammock, Hope was with Killian playing with Lzzie and Connor. "Henry, you have presents to open."
"I know..."
Emma hugs her son."What is wrong?"
"It is crazy how Zelena tries to get her revenge on us. I mean she used Violet to try to hurt us on my birthday of all days?! He paces around. "I am just tired of her trying to destroy us."
"Henry, I know I am tired of fighting but I will always fight for our family. You did taught me good always defeats evil."
"Yes, that is right. You did brought all of the happy endings to Storybrooke and always fights for us."
"That what heroes do Henry always be there for their loved ones and protect them always no matter what life faces them. We cannot control what happens in our lives Henry it just happens and we have to deal with the good and the bad. Our decisions we make affect our lives and we take everything day by day. I always fight for my family and keep my two babies safe because I love you both so much." She tickles Henry to make him laugh.
Henry hugs his Mom. "Mom, you cleary are teaching Hope very young to be a hero."
"I guess you are right, Hope is seeing what I do and she might have a superpower after all. I did not expect to know that Violet was being controlled by someone else."
"Maybe your true love made Hope's superpower very strong. Also you and Dad can tell who is a villain right away."
Emma was smiling at her son. "You have a point. I know your sister takes after all three of us. Let's go inside to open your presents."
"Yes!" They arrived back inside and Henry opened his presents, Allison gave Henry her present. Henry opens his gift was a laptop skin of Batman and Spiderman, "Aunt Allison where did you get this?"
"Redbubble is a website with great designs."
"How did you know about my new laptop?"
"Oh, Regina asked me about the best brands of laptops."
"Mom, here I thought you chose the apple laptop because you love apples." Everyone laughed.
There is one more present from us." Henry opened his aunt's gift, more art supplies and an iTunes gift card. "Thank you, Aunt Allison." He hugs his aunt.
"You are very welcome." Lizzie and Connor gave Henry his present, "I am sorry for hurting you Henry."
"I am okay, Lizzie. I know it was an accident." He hugs Lizzie, which made all three moms go in awe. Henry opened the gift, a Batman: Hush game for Xbox. "This awesome. Connor you and I are playing this soon."
"Yes we are, Henry!" Allison and Emma smiled at each other knowing their sons will be playing video games with each other. Henry opened Violet's gift next, a small notebook with colorful pencils. Henry opened Rumplestikin's present next, which was a scroll.
"Why did my other grandpa gave me magic?" Killian took it from Henry. "Lad, I gave you the wrong one." Emma chuckles. "That was a spell for Regina to use for her sister's punishment." He hands over the gift, which was magic ale to talk to anyone from the underworld. "Whoa..now that I can use...it is enough to talk to two dead people..." He turns to his Mom, Regina. "Mom, you can use it to talk to Daniel?"
Regina was touched. "Henry, thank you for the offer...Are you sure?"
"Yes, I am named after him aren't I? Also I want to see what he has to say since I saw him coming back from the dead at the stables thanks to Whale..."
"Henry, we can do that magic."
Henry turns to his Dad. "Dad, do you want to use the magic ale to talk to your older brother Liam? I am sure Hope wants to meet her other uncle, we all did meet him in the Underworld but her." Killian was touched by his son's offer and thought of him. "Lad, are you sure?"
"Yes, you helped us so much and a great father to Hope and I. I want you to show your older brother Liam how you are a great father and husband to my mom. I had a feeling he did not like mom too much. I know he will be very proud of you." Killian wrapped his arm around two loves.
"Aye, in the end Liam went on better terms with your mother, and I know he will love to meet Hope. Killian hugs his son and became teary eye. "Dada?"
"Hope, your brother gave your Daddy a very special gift, which you will see. Henry made your Daddy very happy." Hope hugs her Mommy. After all the gifts were opened, all ofhte guests went home after a long day, Emma read to Hope, "The Ugly Duckling." "Sweet dreams, Mommy's little hero. You made us so proud today for protecting your whole family, which what being a hero is all about, fighting for your loved ones. . We are so proud of you, Hope." She kisses Hope on the head and laid her on her crib sucking on her swan paci and sees Henry fast asleep with all of his new gifts all organized. She is so happy that he is living with her on his birthday and him being happy , which she always wanted for him. Even they had another threat by Zelena at his birthday party. She kisses Henry on the head. "I love you, Henry." She let him sleep on her lap and she rubbed his head. Killian checked on his wife. "Love, is everything okay with Henry?'
"Yes. He is fast asleep. I am pretty sure he had a good birthday?"
"Aye, I think so too love. He had splatter painting in the backyard, he loved his gifts from everyone and his little sister was very protective of him all day. Hope really saved the day."
"Yes, our little hero of a daughter really did her job as a little sister to look out for her brother."
"Aye, she gets that from you, swan."
"You two Captain." They kiss. Hope crying in her room. Kiillian gets Hope from her crib, "Hope, little hero you want to sleep with Mommy and Dada?" Hope hugs her Daddy and he takes her to Henry;s room. "Emma, our Hope wants to join us."
"I am not too surprised by now." Killian sat next to Henry and Emma letting Hope sleep on hum. "Good night, little love. We are so proud of you."
"We both are so proud of you little hero. You protected Henry which I know he appreciated." She gave Hope kisses on the head. "You are my mini me, baby girl."

"Aye, you mean her Mommy." they kiss. Emma rubs Henry's head. "Happy birthday Henry we love you so much." Killian watched his family sleeping around him, his son had a great birthday and knowing whatever their future holds they are going to work together as a family.
