I woke to faces standing over me. I had no idea who any of the faces belonged to. "Where am I?" I asked, frightened.

One doctor had the courtesy to reply. "The ICU, dear. You passed out and we've been worried about you ever since."

I tried to sit up, but my efforts were fought by the doctors. "Where are my babies? My girls? Where are they? Please tell me they're okay."

The doctor replied gently. "They are fine, you are not." The doctor informed me that I was sick. To the point where I would have no other children. I remember sobbing for days.

**four years later**
I sit in a field with my beautiful children and amazing husband. We smile at the photographer as he takes our picture. I finished high school and started college, and married the man of my dreams. What's next? No one knows. But I bet it will last to infinity and beyond.

This is it for Lauren and her troubles, but I think a new story is in the works, about a girl who was never confident, never thought anyone liked her, until the day someone did. Maybe I'll post a preview and you can tell me what you think.
