Previously  on Fixing the Past: The giant snake continues to move around until it suddenly stops and I feel air being blown on the back of my neck and hear a low hisss.....

#Who daresss to wake me# I hear and a shiver runs down my spine. Before I could speak the ancient beast took a deep breath and spoke again this time in a surprised tone #An heir# The snake back up leaving me to let out a relieved breath. #Whatsss your name young heir?#

#Harriet Rose Potter# I answer cautiously with my eyes still closed.

#Open your eyesss young heir. My eyesss won't hurt you. I've got a sssecond ssset of eyelidsss to protect you from my gaze# I slowly open my eyes and turn around to see the monstrous king of snakes coiled up behind me with it's head bowed back looking a second away from striing.

#You have a bone-chilling gaze young one# It hiss in what I assume is approval. #Why a you here young heir#

#The current headmaster wantsss me and the former heir to fight to the death so he can remain the leader of the light. I fear for not only myssself but for my god-sonsss and the whole of Ssslytherin. I became the queen ssso I could teach the ssstudentsss how to defend themselves but I want a place that they can go to practice whatever kind of magic they want or need to. I need a place that in case of an emergency a place near the dungeonsss they can run to when in danger. # I explain

#Thisss Headmassster wantsss you and my Tomling to kill each other, and your afraid for the sssafety of the ssstundentsss# The snake questioned and I nod in agreement trying not to dissolve into fits of laughter at the thought of the feared Lord Voldemort being called Tomling. #Are the god-sssonsss the other wizardsss you've brought with you, and the elf'sss are yoursss# It caught me off guard that it knew they were out there but it shouldn't have. I nod again slowly. #And you want to tell the whole of Ssslytherin where the chamber of sssecretsss isss and how to get there# If a snake could raise it's eyebrows thats the look i'm getting from this snake.  #Heirsss thessssesss daysss# It hissed to it's self before looking at me #I'm going to take the young sssnakling I found out to hunt sssome ssspidersss you can bring your sssnaklingsss in to do what you want. I doubt they will like being down here with me. You know how to call me if you need me. I recommend that you ussse the private office# It pointed it's tail at a door to the left of the statue and then slithered back the way it came

#Thank you...# I hissed after it but forgot I didn't know it's name

#Medusa, my name is Medusa # It no she replied before leaving. I'm glad i'm not one of Aragogs children right now.

I walk back out of the main chamber when I know she's gone and am imminently attacked on all sides the boys had me wrapped in a hug so tightly that I could barely breath let alone move. "They were very worried" Areas tells me from where he was standing a few feet away. I hug the boys just as tight and wipe the tear that had fallen down Nev's face away and smile at them lovingly.

"Come on guys let me show you the chamber of secrets" I begin leading the boys into the chamber "Don't worry about Medusa she's going hunting and is using her second set of eyelids so she won't hurt any of us" I tell them.

They enter the main chamber slowly looking around cautiously like they were afraid something was going to jump out and attack them which knowing Hogwarts that's not exactly unheard of. I probably need to take care of that sooner or later it wouldn't do to have a first year open a cupboard or unused classroom only to find a boggart, or heaven forbid another Yeti is found roaming the corridors. The boys expressions soon turned from guarded to one of awe looking at the chamber as if it was a priceless artifact and not the wet grim filled dungeon that it is, but i'm not going to rein there experience by pointing it out.
