(Y/N) and Shoto chatted for a while they seems to be getting along quite well with all the laughters coming out of the room. But it didn't last long before (Y/N) decided to ask a question to the boy...
"H-hey uh Shoto how do you get that scar?" Questioned the girl as she attempts to touch the left eye of the male before it got slapped away "w-well... it's really none of your concern..." Shoto got nervous for a second and kept his head down which made (Y/N) even more curious "pleeeeease? I-I promise I won't say anything" the girl asked again without thinking about how personal it can be to someone "don't you think it's kind of rude to just ask someone how they got a permanent injury...?" (Y/N) tilts her head a bit to the side in confusion "really? B-but why?"
Seeing that (Y/N) is still too naive to understand anything Shoto sighs in defeat and finally decided to tell the (H/C) headed girl. "Fine fine... so when I was young my mother always stayed by my side along with my siblings... my father only wanted power and didn't cared about his family so that's why I called him a bitch earlier..." (Y/N) nods as Shoto continues "and day after day... my mother became more and more insane about how father was always abusing her... and how me and my siblings looked so much like our father that made her despise us..." "a-and then?" "and then one night... she poured boiling water onto my left side saying it was unbearable and that she hated that side of me..."
Shoto wasn't really getting a reaction from (Y/N) until he looked back her in her (E/C) eyes
"Okay" (Y/N) plainly said
"Wait what-? Shouldn't you be a least a little surprised about how I was treated in the past?"
"No no not at all"
"But why? Don't tell me an abusive parent is common these days..."
"I-I don't know..."
"Well if you're not sure then- Ah!" Before the prince could finish his sentence, he yelled a bit holding his stomach while having a pale face...
Prince Shoto's POV
"I-I have to go f-for a while... STAY HERE and n-no matter what you do... don't l-let anyone come in u-unless... unless it's me" I quickly explained while panting through words and also made my way to the exit... I knew what was happening and this timing couldn't get any worse, (Y/N) is a pretty weird girl... she didn't feel bad for me like most people would or at least pretend to, she probably doesn't even know what awkwardness is neither...
I walked down the hallway, slightly leaning towards the wall and still holding my stomach. I haven't got any real nourishment for a month now, but I still try to eat as less as possible for... many peoples sakes...
Many maids and guards saw me on the way, they looked really concerned about me but I just kind of laughed it off and kept walking.
It didn't really took me long before I reached to the throne room where several knights were guarding the front gates. They quickly bowed before they started talking
"My prince... may I ask the reason of your presence?..." asked one of the knights
"That is none of your business... you should feel ashamed for questioning such personal information to your superiors... now open the doors before you loose your job..."
"But king Enji has demanded us to not let anyone inside until his majesty comes out and-"
"You think I care?! I'm his son and I'm going in even without his approval! I will be the king in four days and this is my order SO YOU BETTER GET YOU IT" I tried my best to stay calm but I was already loosing control...
Third person's POV
The doors were slammed open revealing Shoto panting all over the place and knights trying to stop him from coming. The king was sitting on his throne and gave a weird disgusted look before he realized what was happening.
Two knights stepped in and bowed "Your majesty! We are terribly sorry for the sudden entrance, we tried to-"
"Are you stating that you were trying to stop my son and the future king from seeing his father? And it seems to be very urgent doesn't it?" The king's words left the knights speechless as they apologized and slowly backed away to leave the two alone.
"I knew this would happen... and you knew this as well Shoto."
"Shut up! I-I can't hold my form forever!" The boy said as he fell on his knees, still holding his stomach
"You could've just came here earlier! There is no holding back for you! Embrace who you really are Shoto!"
"Shut up!"
"You are stronger than anyone can acknowledge Shoto! With your mother's power, gifted from heaven, you can manipulate pure light at your will! But of course you won't be doing many goods along with my power... You are a half demon and you're going to follow my path whether you like it or not. But don't get all happy about being blessed with such capabilities, you are not made to play with friends or be the good guy... You were born to do the exact opposite, to destroy all kind livings and to free Holocaust from her dungeon!"
"I said SHUT UP!"
"you are my greatest creation after all"
Right where Enji finished his sentence, Shoto's left side was slowly covered in black hard skin as he yelled desperately. The boy was no longer holding his stomach, instead he was grabbing his hair trying to break out of this hell... Moments later, the screaming coming from Shoto stopped as he slowly stood up. He stumbled back a bit as he looked back up again, there was tears in his eyes, one still stayed grey while the other was glowing yellow light...
And suddenly, the prince jumped to the king at a fast speed reaching for his neck with his now clawed left hand. But before he could even touch him, Enji grabbed Shoto's neck and threw him to the left side of the throne room. The impact was so big that it left cracks on the wall along with Shoto being barely conscious...
"You have yet a lot to learn Shoto, a pathetic weakling like you won't get anywhere..." Enji coldly said as his son stayed immobile on the floor...
"And once you do you will become the new ruler of Gondolin"
