"Professor Lupin?" Cygnus asks, gently nudging the door to his office open. "I have a vial from Professor Snape for you."
She glances around the modest office, wondering where the shabby Professor could have gotten off to.
She gently sets the vial on the desk, tearing a blank piece of parchment off of the bottom of someone's essay and noting the delivery before setting it under the vial.
She paused, the air had changed, something felt distinctively ... off.
"Professor?" She asks, turning, "I-"
She freezes. Standing in front of her is a werewolf.
"Moony." She gasps, and the wolf's eyes widen.
"Oh my merlin I'm so stupid." She mumbles, stumbling backwards. She goes to catch herself on the desk and breaks the vial, the glass digging into her skin, anchoring her to reality, "it was so obvious."
She flees, cradling her bloody hand to her chest as she bolts down the hallway.
She breezes past a shaggy black dog without a second thought.
