Kyle pulled his shirt over his head,  grateful that it wasn't too dirty from yesterday. " Quit looking you perv" He smiled as he wiggled into his skinny jeans,  noticing the two eyes that were intently locked on to his ass. " Make me" Stan grinned,  causing Kyle to roll his eyes at his boyfriend. When Kyle was dressed,  he looked up to see a space on the bed where Stan had been sitting,  yelping in surprise when two muscular arms wrapped around him,  turning him to face the black haired boy. Kyle couldn't help but grimace slightly when he was hit with Stans morning breath,  pulling out of the hug and dragging him to the bathroom. " Dude your breath stinks" He said,  handing him the toothbrush and making Stan pout. He mumbled something about not having time to brush his teeth this morning as the realisation hit Kyle that he had no toothbrush. " Stan where's the toothbrush I keep here" He said as he stared blankly at the empty pot that previously held a toothbrush that Stan kept specifically for Kyle, due to how many mornings he spent at his house nowadays. " - Kenny dropped it - in the -mmffph- toilet - dont ask" Stan said through a mouthfull of toothpaste. " Just use mine dude" Stan said as he spat into the sink,  causing Kyle to frown.  " No thats gross" Stan scanned Kyles face to look for any sign that he was joking. " Dude. We.  Fucked" Stan said,  clapping between words to emphasize his point. " Yea but..,  its still gross" Kyle said with a grimace. " So you are perfectly fine to have my tongue down your throat but-" " Stan can we just go get my toothbrush.  Please? " Kyle asked desperately,  making Stan sigh in defeat,  putting his hands up. " Fine,  but you gotta accept that im forever making fun of you for this. " Stan said,   putting his toothbrush back and grabbing his jacket from a chair. The pair left Stans house,  grateful that Kyle's was well within walking distance. " I keep feeling like I forgot something" Stan said, frowning in thought. " Might be because Karen isn't here anymore,  I dont know dude" " Yea I guess, hey look dude its Token" Stan said,  noticing their friend.  " What's he doing? He's just like,  looking up at the tree" Kyle asked as they continued walking. " Nah dude look he's talking" Stan realised as they got closer. " TOKE,  WHATCHA DOING THERE BUDDY" Stan shouted across the street to the boy who turned to them with a bored expression. Token sighed,  before pointing up into the leaves.  The boys squinted at the branches until they noticed someone clinging to the trunk of the admittedly pretty small tree. " Clyde come on,  you wont fall" Kyle and Stan both shared a look of understanding as they realised that it was Clyde in the tree.  " Idiot climbed up there because he got scared of a wolf that turned out to be a small cat".  Token sighed as the pair walked over. " IT WASN'T SMALL IT WAS HUGE! " Clyde whined from the tree. Token snickered at the obvious joke that he could make from that sentance" Thats what you said about-" " NOT THE TIME TOKEN CAN'T YOU SEE IM STUCK IN A TREE" Stan stifled a giggle,  earning a smirk from Kyle. " Well have fun with that" Stan said regretfully to Token,  as he and Kyle continued up the path to Kyles house. They opened the door,  Stan sheepishly looking at his feet as he was met with Sheila,  a knowing expression plastered on her face as she glanced down at his hand he hadnt even realised was clasping Kyles. " Hey mum" The ginger said quickly as he dragged the now blushing Stan upstairs with him to the bathroom. Stan stood in the doorway of the bathroom as Kyle brushed his teeth,  jumping in shock when he noticed Ike staring at him suspiciously from the hallway.  " Why does Kyle always sleep at your house" Ike interrogated,  making a flustered Stan all the more grateful when his phone rang,  giving him an excuse to not reply.

INCOMING CALL FROM : METAL MOUTH

" Hey dick face whats up" Stan answered the call from his sister. " Shut up turd,  just wanted to remind you to get mum a present for tommorow since you always forget" " I do not always forget" " Yea you do turd,  now go buy her one before she stops protecting us all from dad and his bullshit ideas" And with that,  she hung up.  Stan rolled his eyes,  then face palmed when he realised that it was Sharons birthday tommorow and as much as he hated to admit it Shelly was right;  he had forgot. " Kyle,  wanna go to town today?  Kinda forgot that it's my mum's birthday tommorow. " He asked while rubbing the back of his neck. " Yea sure man,  we can take my bike like we used to when we were kids,  it'll be fun" Kyle said before spitting into the sink and wiping his mouth,  turning to face Stan with a look of enthusiasm.  " Only you could make going to the store for someone elses present fun" Stan smiled, sending a warm feeling running through his boyfriend who smiled back goofily. " Guys I need to pee" Ike deadpanned with a hint of annoyance as the two boys stared aimlessly into eachothers eyes. " Guys?  Kyle? KYLE! " He rolled his eyes and shoved past his brother,  closing the door behind him and leaving the pair giggling in the hallway as they realised what had happened. " My bikes in the garage,  come on dude" Kyle laughed,  grabbing Stans arm as the black haired boy attempted to hide the bubbling excitement in his chest from the idea of such a simple thing. " Where is it?...  Ah! " Kyle said as he pulled out the familiar hunk of metal and jumped onto the seat,  patting the space behind him. " Hop on super best friend" He chuckled as Stan slumped down comfortably behind him. " And now we see if I still remember how to ride this thing. " As the pair started moving Stan sighed contentedly.  The cool air that swept the loose strands of hair from his face was complimented perfectly by the warm morning sun.  He breathed in the fresh smell of pine that mixed with the warm cinnamon from Kyles conditioner,  and leant lazily against the gingers neck,  enjoying the contact. " We need to do this more often" He remarked fondly as he looked up into the blue sky,  smiling as fluffy clouds mimicked animals. " Yea dude,  we haven't done this since...  Eighth grade? We used to ride together every day..  And you would always throw up after" Kyle chuckled as Stan turned slightly pink. " I mean I was holding your waist the whole time,  and breathing in that goddamn amazing Kyle smell all the way" He defended himself. " Hold on,  THATS why you threw up? Like what you used to do with Wendy? Because you had a crush?  Man I thought you just had motion sickness but I like the fact that you were crushing on me a whole lot more. " Kyle giggled as Stans groans of embarrassment turned into laughs. " Shut up dude" He grinned.  " Why did we stop this? " Kyle sighed happily. After a moment of silence,  Stan softly replied. " Because Cartman called it gay and I was a dick about it. " Kyle remained silent as he remembered the day Cartman had teased them and he actually cared.  " We were kids Stan, its okay". " No, Kyle it wasn't,  I told you we couldn't be friends anymore. I ignored you for two weeks while you cried in your room. " Kyle winced at the memory. " But remember when you wrote me a song and played it outside my window like some sort of medieval suitor to make it up to me.  You said that if people were gonna call us gay then we should give them a reason" Kyle chuckled lightly,  making Stan feel a little better. " Funny how that turned out" Stan smiled wider as he remembered that they were finally together. " Stan" Kyle said softly. " Yea Kyle? " " Promise me you'll never ignore me again. I dont know what I'd do without you. " The sudden sincerity shocked Stan.  " Of course I promise baby,  I dont think I could cope without my super best boyfriend. " He said honestly,  putting Kyles heart at rest. " I love you Stan. " " I love you too dude". They both smiled as the bike came to a stop outside of Walmart.  " Right, present buying time"
