Sighing contentedly, you roll over and pull yourself closer to his warm body. You feel his arm tighten around your waist to pull you even closer to him. You grin, placing a light kiss on his chest.

"I wish we could stay like this forever. Just the two of us, not worrying about the matters at court or other people's problems."

"Aye, it would be nice. But it won't 'appen." You open your eyes and sit up so you are looking down at him.

"Sandor Clegane, do you have to ruin every sweet thing that I try to say to you?"

"Seems to be one of my talents." You smack his shoulder lightly as you try to keep a smile from spreading on your face.

"It could happen someday. We could sneak away during the night, build a little cabin somewhere in the woods with some land for farming and livestock."

"Y/n, we would 'ave a bounty on our heads if we left." You sigh, laying down with your head on his chest.

"I know, it's just nice to think about sometimes." He starts rubbing your back, tracing up and down your spine. "It's nice to get out of this place, even if it isn't real."

He pulls you closer to his body. You drape a leg across him, the blanket piling up around your upper thigh. Moments like these are hard to come by with him, so the two of you have learned to treasure them when you can.

"Do you remember the first time we met," you ask suddenly, breaking the silence.

"'Course, it wasn't really that long ago."

"It feels like it was at times. I remember the first time I saw, with that stupid helmet on. Even then I knew that you were special."

"You were standing with the other Starks, in the giant dress. I thought you were silly more than anythin'."

"God, that gown was terrible. It was so heavy and I could hardly breathe in it. Mother was hoping that I would impress someone since there were other Lords there to meet the king. But that wasn't the first time we talked to each other."

"No, that was on the walls one night when you should have been asleep."

"But instead you found me wandering around. And I wouldn't change what happened that night for anything in the world."

"That's only 'cause it was your first time." He's silent for a moment before letting out a sigh. "I wouldn't either."

You smile leaning and placing a small kiss on his lips. Before you can move too far, he grabs the back of your head and pulls you down, connecting your lips again in a more passionate kiss.

"Maybe we should stop talking," you breathe out once you have pulled away from him. He nods his head, pulling you back down to him.
