"During these past few days I have checked our tapes and video footage many times... i've come to a decision."
L said, sitting in his white swivel chair
"Among the Kitamura and Yagami households No one is suspicious, I shall remove the cameras and wiretaps."

You could hear chief Yagami's relived sighs

"So, in the end the culprit wasn't here, huh?Matsuda added

"Don't lower your guard! We're going to narrow down our possibilities once more." Aizawa snapped back at the young man

Ryuzaki seemed a bit impatient with them

"Please don't get the wrong idea, I just meant that there wasn't anyone suspicious from what I could see from our footage."

"Huh?" Matsuda seemed confused

The raven turned his head to the young man
"Even if Kira is among them, he wouldn't give himself away...no, it means that he was killing criminals as usual, without showing it."

"Then you believe that one of them might be Kira?" Chief Yagami asked

"I'd say it's a 5% chance."

You smirked, of course he'd say that

"Kira was still killing people even while the surveillance cameras were in place I don't know how he did it. But even if he is able to kill people by wishing death upon them if he were a normal person, he would have behaved differently or at least changed his facial expression when committing the murders."

"Kira is not among them?" One of the men asked

"Most people would conclude that, but if Kira is one of them, his psyche has reached a god-like level, judging sinners without changing his expression."
He looked down, biting his thumb and almost mumbling
"I want to believe that Kira doesn't really exist that this is really divine judgement... but it's absurd to think that God would need a person's face and name to kill..."
He looked up with a more stern expression
This isn't divine judgement by God, it's the actions of someone childish who thinks he's a God. That's what this is."

"The mass murderer known as Kira does exist....
And I will catch him."

You sat and read through Ryuzaki's old books that he never used anymore while he himself was working on a case under another one of his aliases
It was mostly books on theory, philosophy, and  human nature.

Really weird...

But then there was one book that caught your eye

Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet rested on the bottom shelf, and was unique from the other variety

Why in the world would he have a romance book? You thought to yourself, brushing off the dust
It was the only one in his collection

But, nonetheless, you took it anyway and skimmed through the story, already really knowing it. You had no other things to do

Weirdly, you noticed that the book contained scribbles and ripped pages. Ryuzaki seemed to have studied this book for some reason.

You quickly grew bored of the story and placed the book back onto his original place

Getting up, you look through one of the windows
You'd never done so because they were always covered by long, hanging curtains

You widen your eyes at the beautiful city view

How come you didn't see this when you ran away?
Ah, you ran the opposite direction in which the city was located...

Beyond these thoughts, you were mesmerized by the scene. You'd never seen anything quite like this before.
