It was simply just becoming morning, but you noticed something different. Ryuzaki wasn't by your side.

Hearing a muffled voice from another room, you decided to go and check it out.

"Watari, has she said anything yet?"

You heard Ryuzaki's voice as you quietly walked down the darkened halls of the headquarters. You slowly start to make out the silhouettes of the men in front of you. Matsuda notices you.

"What's happening?"
You silently mouthed to him, but he just shrugged in response and motioned towards Ryuzaki

"No, she hasn't spoken a word."
You hear Watari's voice from L's computer

"Uh-.. L-Ryuzaki.." Matuda mumbled causing Ryuzaki to sigh in response

"What is it, Matsuda?" He asked, probably annoyed

"R-Ritsuko is-"

"Bring her over here, then."

The men moved aside for you to sit by Ryuzaki as he spoke to Watari

It felt kind of awkward, though... Ryuzaki seemed very irritated for some reason...

He continued

"Get me a visual of her, will you?"

"A-Are you sure?.." Watari seemed very hesitant at this moment

"Yes. And quickly."

The large screen in front of you all started to flicker, then turned on.

There was the girl from the park, Misa. She was... strapped head to toe to some sort of device, her eyes covered.

You looked up, paralyzed in fear as all you could hear was her shuttered breathing. All the men gasped, except for Ryuzaki.

It was... terrifying. Dehumanizing... like something you would see in a horror movie.. you couldn't believe what you were seeing...

I can't handle this...

You looked at Ryuzaki in complete shock who continued to watch the video

"Ryuzaki! What is the meaning of this?!" Soichiro took the words right out of your mouth

"I've apprehended her on suspicion of being the second Kira. I'm afraid this is necessary." He really wasn't at all fazed by any of this

"The chances are...Amane is guilty. There seems to be enough evidence to convict her, but.. all the same."

"Yes there can be no mistake, now we need a confession out of her. We need to know how she kills, whether she knows Kira, and if so, who he really is." He goes back to the microphone

"Watari, take the necessary precautions, but beyond that, you're free to do whatever has to be done, okay? Just make her speak."

"Very well."

He then turns around

"Oh, and Mr. Yagami, Light has become our prime suspect and i'm probably gonna bring him in for interrogation as well. Please be prepared for that."

At that moment, you had decided to get up. You needed to get out of there. You felt dizzy, lightheaded, and sick to your stomach. Tears that you didn't even know existed were streaming down your face

Ryuzaki silently watches you leave in confusion, raising an eyebrow
"Where are you going...?"

You didn't respond
