~Three days later~

You thought Chief Yagami was going to stay here and work with us, but that wasn't the case..?
Instead, you found yourself with only L and Matsuda this time, watching the chief on a screen.

Something about it wasn't right to you.

Something was...off.

The chief had instead taken Misa in his car, and they were driving.
You didn't know why, though. Maybe this was perhaps her getting freed?

Were they coming back? I mean- she's in handcuffs, though..

Is he just taking Misa? Where's Light?

You wanted to ask L what was happening, but his attention was entirely on the screen. You were afraid that he'd lose focus and get angry again. He never really told you, either.

He only previously mentioned the words: "My Plan."

"I never thought that you would be an old man, Mister Stalker."
Misa tells the chief. You're pretty sure that she's the first to speak ever since they got in. It's weird to hear her voice through the speakers again..

"I'm not a stalker. I'm a detective."
The chief coldly replies back.

Odd..

"A detective? I remember now.. I was told that I was being arrested for being the second Kira or something.. That was for real!?"
She genuinely looked shocked.
"There's no way the police would tie me up in such a fetish-like way..."

You felt as if everyone in the room rolled their eyes, even L.

"Anyways, isn't is strange that my hands and feet are restrained even though you're going to let me go?"

Oh, they were letting her go?

"Be quiet."
Something about the chief's tone gave off a strange feeling

You watched as the car drove into a dark tunnel, revealing Aizawa with Light standing beside him. Handcuffs and all.

"Light!"
Misa immediately got out of the car and ran to the boy

"Misa?" He looked absolutely exhausted.

"I was dying to see you!"
The girl's voice seemed to get more annoying by each word.

Light looked up

"Dad, what's going on?" He asked

Misa turned back to his father

"Huh? Dad..? I called your dad a stalker and other rude things like that..P-Pleased to meet you! My name is Misa Amane, i'm currently going out with Light!" She spoke quickly in rushed words, panicking. Everybody ignored her though.

You could feel your head about to burst

"I'll leave it to you, chief." Aizawa states

"What's wrong?" Light asked again

"Hurry up, and get in." Chief commands. It was so unsettling..
