Kennedy's POV:
When I opened my eyes and looked around I panicked.
I thought I had dreamed the last 24 hrs...but nope.
I was actually in my old room at the gym.
I grabbed my phone to see the time.
12:30pm.
Holy shit! My Dad would be here already and I wasn't ready to face him yet.
I saw that I had over 15 missed calls from Asher and 1 from Rachel.
Asher had also sent over 20 text messages.
I should just erase them...
But I couldn't.
I had to know what I was up against.
So I clicked on to the first one.
A: Where the fuck are you?
Not there obviously, you stupid dumb fuck!
Next.
A: Kennedy, I swear to God fucking tell me where you are?
Nope.
A: You really don't get it.
Your fucking mine.
I will not tolerate this type of behavior.

A: I don't want to hurt you Ken...but I will.

A: Just come home.
I'm sorry.

A: FUCKING COME HOME!

A:WHY ARE U SUCH A FUCKING BITCH
Because I am.
A: Are you at Rachel's?

A: Didn't think I knew about her did you?
Damn it....
A: If you don't call me....
I'll bust that bitches door down and drag you out by your pretty little scalp.
Please God...he wouldn't.
A: Your fucking whore friend acted like she didn't know where you were.
Because she doesn't you piece of shit!
A: Maybe I'll fuck her and make you watch.
As your punishment.

Not likely.
A: I'm sorry.
You know I'm crazy about you.
Please just come home.
I won't hurt you...I promise.

How did I ever end up with this guy?
He's mental.
A: I'll find you.
I always do.
Oh and I switched the locks.
I have training this week in Great Neck.
So until you stop acting like a spoiled little bitch, you can sleep on the streets.
I'll be waiting for your call.

His last text was at 9am.
I forgot that he had training out of town this weekend.
If I could sneak out of the gym unnoticed, I could go get my stuff from the apartment.
I could say goodbye to Rachel too.
She was really the only person who I would consider a friend.
She lived on the same floor as Asher and me.
She always took me in...when it got too bad.
I needed to let her know that I was done.
She'd be so happy and proud of me.
I couldn't call her here...my Dad could walk in any minute.
I'd have to text her.

K: Rach...I'm sorry if Asher bothered you last night.
Your home?
She responded instantly.
R: Thank God Ken!
I thought that bastard had killed you!
You ok?

K: I'm ok. I'm finally leaving him.
I can't be his punching bag anymore.
Are you home?

R: FINALLY!
THAT PSYCHOPATH ALMOST RIPPED MY DOOR OFF.
HE WAS ACTING CRAZY.
LUCKILY MY MAN WAS HERE...BRADLEY THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS!
HE LEFT, BUT NOT UNTIL HE SEARCHED MY WHOLE APARTMENT!

K: Damnnnn Rach, I'm sorry!

R: Stop that! And sorry for the all caps🤣
But Asher is insane boo.
I have class but you can go to my place, you know where the key is.
And he left around 10 this morning.
Bradley wasn't gonna let me leave if Asher was still home.
So the coast is clear!
