Charlie's POV:

When I found out that they had eloped in Vegas on the night of Justin's fight, I was furious.
Having to find out that your daughter was married via social media was like a cold slap to my face.
Then watching a video of their vows, had me seeing red.
My daughter was clearly under the influence of alcohol. Giggling and tipsy.
And Justin was acting like a kid at the circus.
Clearly his concussion had wiped out his last logical brain cell.
Hailey and I had raised our daughter better than that.
Her fiance was supposed to ask me for her hand in marriage after a long courtship.
I was supposed to walk my little girl down the aisle.
Not to mention that he had broke her heart that night.
That I had found him passed out in bed with a crazy bitch, while my daughter was missing.
Then I had the dumb idea to ask him to help me find her, that we should split up to cover more ground.
Never in a million years did I think he'd corral her into some cheap wedding chapel and they'd make up with tying the knot.
Idiots! My damn kid's were idiots!
But the cherry on top, oh the good part...
They didn't even remember it.
Dumb and dumber had blacked out the whole thing.
After screaming at them both on the phone, they figured it out.
At first, I didn't believe them.
But when Justin called me to apologize, and actually sounded tearful and distraught...I calmed the fuck down. By a smidge.
And when he told me that he loved my daughter, and that he was going to give her a proper wedding one day...I relaxed a little more.
He had called me to let me know he was taking Hailey on a sort of honeymoon.
I still remember that conversation.
It was the first time I thought that maybe them being married wasn't so bad.

"Charlie, I know your still mad. And if someone married my daughter like this, I'd go insane."

"Justin...Don't you dare knock my baby girl up!
Wait! You better not be calling me to tell me you already did!
I will fucking kick your ass!"

"Hell no! I'm not a complete monster.
I mean I want to have kid's with her.
Lots and lots of babies. But nows not the time."

"Damn straight, now's not the time!"

"Charlie, calm down. I promise no grandchildren for a while.
I'm just calling for your blessing to take my wife on a honeymoon.
Get her mind off of Asher.
I want her to feel carefree.
I know I fucked up by marrying her like that.
But the truth is, I would have married her at some point.
So I promise to do shit the right way from this point forward.
Your like a father to me, and I know Hailey wants your approval of us.
So whatdda say, old man?
Do I have your blessing to take my wife on a honeymoon?"

God the kid could really be charming and persuasive when he tried.
I was falling for it.

"Fine. But if you knock my daughter up, I get to go a couple rounds with you in the ring."

"Charlie, you do remember that I'm a professional fighter, right?"

Still a cocky lil shit.

"Yeah Bieber, I don't have dementia yet.
I forgot to mention you'll be blindfolded with your hands tied behind your back."

Justin was silent for a minute, but then he nervously laughed.

"You've got jokes Charlie.
But I promise to wrap my dick twice, ok?
No lol swimmers for now."

"Justin! Shut the hell up!
I am not having this conversation with you. That's my little girl!"

"It was a joke! I'm joking.
But seriously she is my wife.
So can I take her away?"
