You know I'm trying to make it all better now"

F O U R  days after being rescued, Charlie found herself felling stronger and more able bodied than ever. While she was still healing the wounds on her back and the one's in her mind, she found that she was able to piece back together easily enough.

Despite the threat that Noah was still out there; though she knew even he wasn't stupid enough to come find her with the amount of supers around her.

Though this morning she woke up in a mood.

Charlie was standing in the bathroom when she heard the door to her room open and Bucky calling her name.

"I'm in here." She said, running the comb through her hair.

The halfway open door pushed back further and Bucky meet her eyes through the mirror. "Dying your hair?"

"Trying to." Charlie looked at him for half a second before she looked back, using the comb to finish layering the dark brown dye on her head.

"Are you sure you want to go that?" Bucky asked her.

"Yes. Why does everybody keep asking me that?" She said with a huff and set the bottle down.

"I just want to make sure." He told her. His blue eyes remained on her and he watched her finish what she was doing.

In the four days since their reunion, he hadn't truly left her side. He hadn't even been home to the house or even visited the facility since she's been back. He's slept next to her every night and hardly left her side.

Of course, Oliver was right there along with them. Although he now had a beautiful bedroom next to his grandfather, he often snuck all the way down in Charlie's medical room and nestled between his two favorite people.

Charlie let out a tired sigh and walked to the door. "If you don't mind..." She said as she started to close the door.

Bucky met her eyes for only a second before the door closed and she leaned against it. Her eyes met the matching green in the mirror and she sighed, looking at the dark dye that dropped slightly over her forehead.

Tears blurred her vision before she took a deep breath and wiped her eyes. "I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine." She mumbled to herself.

Bucky stood by the door, leaning against the hard wood and listening to her mumble to herself. His face was set in a glare as he stared at the floor. Then he knocked softly. "Honey?"
