OLIVER was sitting at the table, a note pad in front of him. Written in his messy handwriting were the names of mutants that had fought and died for the species. He was studying their names, learning their powers, honoring their sacrifice.

Next to the notepad, and what was the main focus of his attention, was his cell phone. When the screen lit up and a message appeared on the screen, his face turned upwards into a smile and he grabbed the device.

His cheeks settled into a scarlet coloring as he read the encrypted message.

"I got to go. I'll finished studying later." The fourteen year old boy said.

Charlie, who was sitting across the table, looked up at him. "Got big plans or something?"

Oliver blushed again at another message and started to gather his stuff. "Something like that."

"Let me guess..." Her lips lifted in a knowing smile. "Jean, again?"

"He just needs help."

"Needs help, sure." Charlie smiled and closed her laptop. The library at the school was beginning to fill up as afternoon classes began. She had to get to her own lecture. "You're not having sex, are you?"

"Charlie, Jesus." Oliver said as he stood.

"Well, I just want to make sure. You're only fourteen. And please, if you do, make sure you wear protection." Charlie said.

Oliver looked down to hide his face in his overgrown hair. "Okay, okay."

"I'm serious. You can catch something from anyone. Wrap before you tap."

"Charlie."

"Cover your stump, before you hump."

"Charlie."

"Don't be silly, wrap your silly." Charlie started to laugh.

"Charlie! Oh my god, you're so annoying. Almost as bad as Bucky and Uncle Steve."

Charlie laughed harder as she too gathered her things. "Just do me a favor, make good choices. Okay."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Oliver grumbled before running off.

Charlie smiled and shook her head at her younger brother. While she didn't believe he should be having sex at his age, no one should, she knew that teenagers always found a way. She would rather him be safe than sorry.

After she grabbed the last of her stuff she left the library, heading towards her class.
