"BUCKY..." She cried and set her cold hands on his chest. "Why? Why would you do that?" Her chest heaved as she sobbed.
A creak in the floorboards told her someone had approached, and when she looked up, Oliver stood in the kitchen doorway. "Charlie?"
"It's over." Charlie said, and opened her arm. Oliver moved towards his sister immediately and dropped to his knees. Her arm wrapped around his warm body and his eyes fell over Bucky's body.
"Bucky?" Oliver asked so gently, pulling on Bucky's limp arm.
"It's over," Charlie cried, and hugged Oliver to her body. They both heard sirens in the distance. "It's over."
"What happened?" Oliver asked as tears burned his eyes. "What happened!"
"Noah. He did what he wanted to do." Charlie cried. Hot tears were drowning her.
"Charlie! Oliver!"
Charlie looked up when she heard her name being called. She recognized the voice immediately. "Wanda... Wanda!"
The witch climbed the stairs two at a time and as soon as she saw what laid out in front of her, she stopped. With her mouth agape, she took in the sight.
Noah's mangled dead body. Bucky's body. Charlie and Oliver. Parts of the room were iced over, other parts were charred.
"What happened?" Wanda asked.
"Noah. Bucky. Dead." Charlie cried.
"Wanda, help us, help us please." Oliver said. His eyes were swollen from the amount of tears that were falling. He was scared.
Wanda looked at Bucky with a frown, and then after a beat, her eyes widened. "He's not dead. Almost. But not yet. I can hear him."
"What?" Charlie looked up at Wanda and then back to Bucky. "He's what?"
Wanda dropped to her knees in front of Bucky's body and set her hand on his chest. "His heart is barely beating. There's still time. Charlie, you have to freeze him."
Charlie's eyes widened at Wanda's words but she didn't waste any time. Dropping to her own knees, she set her hands on his chest. She took a deep breath.
