It seemed like just days ago I was boarding my plane to get away from the ordinary life I had chosen for myself; my destination England. Now I'm left sitting across the sympathetic man I promised myself to forget about. I'm distraught and disappointed in myself for letting this get to where it has. I am aware that I'm not only hurting myself but him. But here he stands before me, smiling, as his eyes close shut instantly showing off the small wrinkles that form every time he laughs too hard at one of my idiotic stories he has me come up with in a matter of seconds; only to cover up my boring personality and awkwardness to which we both have not yet adapted to. We were suddenly interrupted by the sound of bells placed above the door of the small shop, welcoming in the fresh cool air of the city. It was just then that I realized how I had ended up here. He brushed his hand over my skin to settle down the goosebumps, or maybe to actually feel that I was still here with him, not physically but mentally. I could feel my chest tightening and my heart pounding loud loud enough for the people in the small shop to hear, knowing that now was the moment to be honest with him and tell him all that had recently occurred to me.
