Liam's P.O.V.

"I um. I'm not quite sure yet." She stumbles to say what she really wants to say.

I'm curious as to what they mean next destination. And why this asshole is still here. He looks at her intently and I wish he would stop. He's making her uncomfortable.

"Can you elaborate?" He smiles.

"She doesn't want to speak about it mate. Stop pestering her." Leah's eyes instantly focus on me as she smiles at Harry. He decided to ignore my comment and continues to wait for her response.

"I took some time off from college and work to travel. I'm trying to travel to as many places as I can, random. Never planned." She begins to explain.

He begins to chuckle at her. By the look at her face she seems just as confused as I do.

"Just like that?" He tries to speak as he laughs. He shakes his head as it falls back and places a hand on his stomach. "Do you think it will be that easy?" He composes himself as he looks more serious than before. He still holds that god damn smirk and I can tell he's crushing her inside. He doubts her and although he doesn't fucking realize it, he's hurting her. He's doubting that she is capable of going through with her plan. Carter doesn't seem to acknowledge that this asshole is laughing right at her cousin's face.

"I think it's time you leave mate." I say. Anger pulses through my veins. If he doesn't leave soon I will drag him by the neck.

He looks back between Leah and I and even glances at Carter as she awkwardly pulls something out of the refrigerator. Leah keeps her head down as she looks up from the plates and gives him a small smile, even after what he just did she's still poliet. He begins to grab his coat and raises his eyebrows. "Wow, okay. Hey Carter, call me when you need me." He simply states as we hear his footsteps get further and further. The door suddenly slams shut, I have the sudden urge to get up and go after him. To make him close it again but in a kinder manner. For Carter's sake I don't.

"Was that necessary?" Carter questions me. By the tone of her voice I can tell she's not happy but I could care less. He was being disrespectful. I don't say anything and look at Leah who seems very uncomfortable to be in the middle of all this.

"Your grilled cheese should be ready soon." Leah speaks softly. The tone in her voice tells me that something is off.

" I think I'm going to call it a night and head to bed. Maybe even call Harry and apologize for someone else's behavior." Carter practically stomps like a little child out of the kitchen.
