"Olivia!?" I hear Ava yelling. I slightly open my eyes. I somehow feel dizzy, Ava tries lifting me up but she clearly needs help. I roll my eyes but even that hurts.

"What happened?" I ask confused.

"You fainted!" she says frantically. I've never fainted before. She hands me a water bottle and I instantly feel better. I sit down on the bed and she presses a cold cloth onto my forehead.

"Thanks, I feel better. I guess I was just . . . I don't know." I say still confused.

"I'm sorry I laid all of this on you." She says and I can see the puppy behind her eyes.

"No it's okay, I don't even know what came over me." I know Ava is trying not to mention the fortune teller again but I can tell she wants to.

"It's okay," I tell her, hoping she'll tell me more.

"Are you sure?" she asks, hesitant.

"Yes, tell me everything, I don't believe any of this is true despite just fainting." I say.

"Olivia, are you eating enough? I barely see you eat." she asks and come to think of it I haven't eaten a lot lately but I still reply with a small ‚yes'.

"I just feel weird today that's all, I feel too tired to think and my head is clouded." She explains and I nod. "Me too." I simply say.

"Maybe we should get another reading? Or at least ask her about everything." Ava suggests but I'm not so sure I want to until I remember Liam, I want to know more about him and if this is the only way then I want to do it.

After around fifteen minutes of walking, we finally approach the sketchy alleyway. What was Ava thinking, bringing us here in the first place? I shake my head and my eyes go wide when I see that the place is gone.

"Wait, what? are you sure this is the right place?" I ask Ava even though I know it is.

"Yeah . . . I'm sure. How can this be, I mean it's the same building but there's no shop."

"Maybe she ran out of business." I joke. Ava looks at me with a serious face.

"No, I think we're too late . . . " Ava says and steps closer to the building. ‚For Sale' is written in big lettering. My fat fingers graze the sign and I know this must be some kind of sick joke that I don't want to be a part of.

"What now?" I ask her.

"I don't really know . . . all I heard was that it's enough to just go down here and ask her if we fucked up but I guess . . . we can't." She says with a low voice and I swear I think she might be tearing up.

"Honestly, Ava the longer we stand here the more stupid this all sounds, a curse, really? I mean where is that even coming from. Like that's not real life, we paid her and that's that." I say with disbelief "Yeah . . . " she forces a

giggle. "I guess you're right," she adds but the frown on her face doesn't disappear as easily.
