The car doors slams shut and we head towards the small house. I don't know what to expect. This is my first time in public with Liam and it's more nerve-wracking than I thought it would be, it almost makes me want to go back into hiding.

Liam knocks harshly onto the door and we hear; „shh be quiet everyone."

„Is this a party?" I ask Liam with pure confusion.

„well, more like a house party . . . it's small and my friends can be a little weird." He explains, but my confusion doesn't go away.

I can't believe I agreed to this.

„it's Liam." He says, his voice different somehow.

A strange boy opens the door and we head inside. It's not at all what I imagined. The small house isn't at all crowded and it doesn't look like an average house party.

„yo, what'sup." Liam says before he shakes hands with the stranger.

„is this Olivia?" he asks with a raised brow and an almost laugh.

„Yup." Liam says, putting his arm around me.

I feel like a child being introduced to a distant relative for the first time in a while. I glance around the room. There's almost an equal number of girls and boys. Before I can realize that we're in the kitchen, I feel someone bump into me.

„oh sorry." A small blonde says. I smile, letting her know it's okay and she leaves. I drag Liam away from the small crowd in the kitchen.

„This seems so weird, can't we just leave?" I ask.

„Oh, I thought you'd have fun here, this is all low-key and super chill. I figured you'd want to meet my friends." He says. I feel a little bad that the only thing I want to do is run away from this place, but I can't help it.

„I guess." I say.

He tilts my head up. „come on Olivia, have fun, thisisn't some hardcore party it's just relaxed." He smiles and his bright blue eyesconvince me to stay.
