D9-Soulmate AU

 This was suppose to be a relaxing graduation trip to help inspire the class for their future. Marinette sighed as her class headed uptown in Gotham to a karaoke bar. She guessed it had to be Lila's doing since she had put it on the pamphlets saying how dangerous it was to walk around Gotham after dark. Lila would probably try to blame her, if they got jumped or mugged on the way back, for not telling them how this was a dangerous city.

It wasn't her fault they threw away the pamphlet at Lila's request, especially since she knew 'everything' about Gotham. She dated Bruce Wanye's son and was his soulmate since they were kids. Yeah, like everything out of her mouth wasn't a lie.

"Is she really going to go on like this?" questioned Chloe.

"She won't stop til we're out of Gotham." sighed Adrien.

"What happens when we got to Wayne Enterprise tomorrow and she throws her name around?" asked Nino.

"She won't." grumbled Alix, "She'll probably say how they like to keep their relationship a secret."

"At least she hasn't lied that she knows Batman." spoke Kim.

"And Batman know me personally." Lila quipped.

"You were saying, Kim?" Marinette asked, giving him a pointed look, making their group chuckle.

"Lila lying about knowing Batman was already at the top of my list, at least 95%." Max stated.

"Why are we going to a karaoke bar?" asked Nino.

"Because Lila suggested it and she knows the city." Mari stated, rolling her eyes.

"Why are we here?" questioned Damian.

"We're here because Alfred refused to let us have Family Night in the Cave or in the parlor, especially after last month's monopoly game." Dick replied, sipping his Iced Tea.

"I agree. We have company coming over this week and there is no time for a decorator should you bring out the gear." answered Bruce.

"Besides, Demon Spawn, we get to hear you sing." laughed Jason.

Damian rolled his eyes. There was no way he was singing.

"Where's Tim?" asked Bruce.

"He went to get coffee. There's a Goth-a-dime nearby' he's probably there. I'll get him." Damian suggested.

"Don't think you're getting out of singing! It's you're turn when you get back!" shouted Jason.

Damian rolled his eyes as he started working his way through the hallway maze back to the entrance.

'Perhaps I can convince Drake to enjoy his drink there. Maybe we'll miss this whole excursion together.' he wondered as laughing broke him out of his thoughts.

"Can you imagine how horribly she'll sing?" he heard someone say.

"Please, she'll sound like a warbled mountain goat." said another.

"I don't think I've ever heard her sing." the third laughed.

"We'll get her up on stage and record it. Alya can post it to her blog if she doesn't stop being mean to Lila." suggested the first voice.

"Perfect!" said the second, laughing along with the rest.

'Bullies. I better put a stop to this if it gets out of hand. Drake can wait.' Damian thought, following the girl back to their room.

"Come on, Marinette." he heard one of the voices say.

"Everyone is going to take a turn." said another.
