'Where did Marinette go to? I thought she said she'd be in the gardens.' Damian wondered as he walked into the gardens.

Quickly, Damian spotted her sketchbook laying open out on the table.

'What's she working on now?' he thought to himself, as he got closer.

On the page laid a wedding dress. It was styled as a ballgown. There was a layer of lace covering the skirt and gemstones littering the bodice.

'Is she expecting more? We have been together for three years! Is she waiting for me to ask?' he began to panic, 'Has enough time passed to ask? We never really talked about this!'

Damian sat in her seat, holding the sketchbook in his life and began to wonder.

Damian saw himself at the end of the aisle. Marinette was walking towards him, with Tom on her arm. Her dress wasn't poofy like the one in her sketchbook. He simply couldn't see her wearing it. She was dressed more elegantly, in a lacy mermaid dress. It was uncinched at her knees to make sure she didn't trip. Red roses littered the aisles.

The dream suddenly changed and he was walking though the manor front doors. He heard laughter ringing from the kitchen and saw Marinette decorating a gingerbread house with a little boy, trying to pick off the sweets. Her stomach was large once more. She turned, noticing his presence and smiled brightly. The little boy bore the same smile as he turned to see him in the doorway.

'Daddy!' the little boy shouted.

Damian saw her mouth move and call out-

"Damian!" he heard, shaking him from his stupor.

He turned to see Marinette looking worriedly at him.

"Are you okay?" she asked, touching his forehead, "You are a little warm." not noticing the blush across his cheeks.

"I think I'm just a little tired." he assured her, getting her hand and pulling it to his lips for a gentle kiss.

It was her turn to blush. She looked down and noticed her sketchbook in his lap.

"Oh! You found my sketchbook! I was looking all over for it. Chloe called and asked me to design her wedding dress." she spoke, as he returned it to her.

"Oh?" he asked, pretending to know nothing about the design.

Mari quickly found the ballgown wedding dress and showed him.

"She called and wanted me to subtly add some yellow in." Marinette sighed, looking over the design, "Personally, I don't think I could wear something this. Mybe a mermaid gown would be best. Don't you think?"

Damian felt like he had just swallowed his tongue. He couldn't speak. He merely nodded.

Marinette smiled and said, "I better start working on this." She kissed his cheek. "I'm going to go back to my room. Are you sure you're okay, Dami?" she asked, but he only nodded.

Mari turned and returned to the manor.

Maybe she wasn't hinting at marriage anytime soon, but the universe was.

The young Wayne stood up, a little dizzy from the interaction with his girlfriend, and knew what he had to do.

'Time to find a ring!'
