Cards (drabble/AU)

Four were chosen from the districts; Diamonds, Clubs, Spades, and Hearts. Chosen to become the next leaders. They first had to overcome ten challenges to prove they were fit to rule together.

They were given eleven cards, ten of them ranging from the numbers 2 to 10. But the eleventh card, the Ace card, they were told to never use.

You see, each card has a different ability corresponding with the different districts. The 5 of diamonds would summon crystal spikes, while the 5 of hearts would summon a circle of shields. The candidates were meant to use these cards to overcome the challenges together, but once they used a card, that card would turn to ashes and become unusable.

The Ace card has an unknown ability. If used, it would either summon something extremely good, or extremely bad.

One was given to each of the candidates as a test. A test to see if they could handle the responsibility of such a dangerous card.

But will one of them use it?

Other notes:

-you guys can make the candidates whatever you think! I was thinking Stress of Diamonds, EX of Hearts, Joe of Clubs, and Wels of Spades

-don't think i've ever said this, but you guys can use my AUs! i just make them because i get bored :3

-the Ace card isn't the main focus, it's more of a background focus in this AU. The main focus is them trying to know when and when not to use their cards in their challenges

-the current rulers are King Grian of Diamonds, King Xisuma of Hearts, Queen Cleo of Clubs, and King Doc of Spades

-they get the challenges because they need to prove they can work together even in dangerous and stressful situations

-Cub and Scar are the Jokers. They're basically wild cards that have the ability to guide the candidates and break the rules to a degree

this basically a mixture of like Yu-Gi-Oh, Kingdom Hearts, and the manga Sugar Sugar Rune... aka everything anime based that i've watched xD
