Part 32: A day in the life

Monday January 13, Twice dorm 1:10pm
"And that is how he single handedly beat Liverpool." Sana said
"Sana, honey. Are you alright?" Her mother asked
"Yeah why?"
"It's just you've been going on about this for ten minutes and all I asked was how you were doing."
"Oh right, I'm doing great."
"We know, we can see it even with this Skype call's poor quality." Sana'a father said
"So where is he now?" Her mother asked
"He's at training with his team."
"Anyway before you gave us a chance to speak, we did watch the match in fact, with Joseph's parents."
"Really? What about his brother? I thought they were really close." Sana asked
"His brother went to Korea to audition for JYP, so who was the small one?"
"Small one? What are you talking about?" Sana was confused
"The player that seemed to be close with Joseph."
"Oh, (Y/n)? It's funny, they're like brothers but only met each other last year."
"They definitely acted like it, anyway we have to go, your father promised he'd take me shopping, we're redecorating the house." Sana'a mother said
"Ok, bye!"
The call then ended and Sana laid on her bed
"I wonder how Joseph's doing."

Tottenham training ground
"Alright everyone get those knees up! Come on no slacking!" Poch said
The team were doing running drills and were preparing for their FA Cup replay match against Middlesbrough
"So you guys couldn't beat a league 2 side?" Joseph asked Dele
"It was a weird day, everyone was worried about (Y/n) and we weren't in the right mindset." Dele explained
"(Y/n), he's so lucky. He don't have to do this training like us." Joseph whined
"Oh you haven't seen what (Y/n)'s like." Son said
"What do you mean?" Joseph asked
"Almost every night after his school ends, he comes here and runs 100 laps of the field, then an hour of shooting drills, an hour of passing drills and an hour of set pieces."
"You're kidding right?" Joseph was taken aback
"Not even close. He makes up on everything he's lost during training and doubles it, I heard he can bench 115 kg." Dele said
"Wait how much is that?" Joseph asked
"Oh right you're American, probably something like 250 pounds." Dele explained
"No way!"
"You're all wrong, while he does do all that training, he doesn't even bench now hurry up and run faster." Poch says

(Y/n)'s school
Urgh, if there is one place I hate more than the Emirates stadium, it's here
"So what are Twice like, are they better looking in person? Is MiChaeng real?" The fangirls kept asking
Once again stuck at school, if it isn't the guys asking me about football, it's the group of girls that like Kpop. As I said, no one cares about me, just who I'm associated with.
"Listen, for starters I'm already in a relationship so I don't look at Twice like that even though they are all beautiful, second if you're going to talk with me at least try and act like my friend and third MiChaeng is 100% real."
I then get up from the table at the cafeteria and leave.

I leave the school building and make my way to the shops.
"Hey, (Y/n)! My favourite customer!" The owner said
"Your only customer David." I replied, jokingly
"Ouch that hurt." He faked being hurt
"Sure it did." I laughed
"So how are things at school?"
"Great." I say, scanning the fridge for a drink
"And your sister? I haven't seen her in a while."
"She's in Korea now, she got a job as a singer for a big Korean company."
"Really? Isn't that the one your girlfriend works at?" David asks
"Yeah.....How did you know about that?"
"Anyone can read or watch the news (Y/n)."
"Oh right, I thought you didn't watch the news though since you don't like the quote unquote, rubbish and fake bs they put on there."
"Well I'm always updated on your condition, ever since your first Liverpool game I've had to keep reading up on you and checking if you're ok."
"Do I really mean that much?" I laugh
"Without you, my business would fail."
"I guess you're right."

I then look at all the sweets and decided on M&Ms.
"Mr big football star buying sweets and fizzy drinks?"
"It's only that, I always eat healthy all the time."
"Sure, So Dr Pepper, I thought you had a deal with Coke?"
"Dr Pepper is owned by Coke, sometimes I wonder how you run a business." I facepalm
"Ouch, you're two for two on insults today."
"Just be lucky it ain't ten."
"Alright."
I then pay for my stuff and leave the shop

JYP building London branch
"And then I was like, that's my sandwich." Lia said
"Right, and what's this gotta do with me having this last Capri-sun?" Yuna asked
"Oh, Nothing, I just stalled you enough so I could take it for myself."
Lia then took the Capri-sun and ran away, Yuna then chased after her

"Honestly they act like kids sometimes." Ji-ah sighed
"You think that's bad, you should try living in the same house as Nayeon." Twice's manager said
"Doesn't it get weird, having kinda the same name as her?"
"It was at the start but now I don't mind." She replies, taking a sip of her coffee

"You know I heard that (Y/n) might be going to Germany to play for a team, I think they're called Buy-earn munch." Yeji told Ryujin
"What! No way! He wouldn't do that, he wouldn't leave Tottenham, especially with Joseph arrived."
"I don't know I just heard it on Twitter."
Ryujin took a sigh of relief
"You do realise half the stuff you see on Twitter is lies right?" She asked Yeji
"Yeah I guess, but there are always transfer rumours like that going around, like (Y/n) was linked to like 72 clubs."
"I guess he's just too good." Ryujin said happily

The Park and Wang apartment
"When he gets back I'm gonna hit him round the face, I told him to wash these dishes yesterday but did he do it, no." Alice said sarcastically
She was washing the dishes angrily, as the time she had normally spent watching some English daytime programmes was now spent doing more work.
She sighs as she looks over to the living room where she could've been watching Judge Rinder (English equivalent of Judge Judy) or Jeremy Kyle.
"He'll pay, with at least five weeks of cleaning the house."
Her phone then rang, she dried her hands and answered it.

"Hello?"
"Hi, I just finished training and I'm on my way home."
"You better get back right now! You haven't done the dishes, again! The next time you don't do it I'll take your phone and stop you from talking to Sana until it's done!"
"No! Anything but that! I'll come back and do it!"
Joseph then hung up the phone and Alice had a smile on her face
"Ha, now I can watch TV."

Somewhere in London...
"I don't know why you wanted to come here, of all places. We just had a comeback and we're getting a break, but you want to go on holiday to London for what reason?"
"There's someone I wanted to see, and I technically saw them. But I want to really see them, I person and talk to them."
"You're so weird."
"You know that feeling when you're nervous, like if I talk to him, that nervous feeling will get me, and I'm so hot when I'm nervous." One of them said
"You're a stalker." Sighed the other
"No, I'm just Curious."
"Curious or not, I'm gonna hit you over the head like baam!"
